These are quality boots! They are so comfortable and cute! They are going to be perfect for my kinda hippie wardrobe! I am so glad I decided to buy them. They do not run big at all. They are lightweight too. Did I mention that I love these boots?!!
I’ve bought Born shoes and boots in the past and wasn’t sure of how these would fit. Because my last pair I wasn’t able to zip up over my calves. I’m a normal sized person. 5’8 wt 155 size 8.5 shoe.I went up 1/2 size to a 9. They fit perfectly. Extremely comfortable as well. They wouldn’t have fit if I had of purchased an 8.5. It has an inner zipper that I didn’t notice in the pictures but still was able to get over my calves. Beautiful rich color.
i was worryed that they might be messed up because the box was messed up . gave them a try and wear them all the time . they look nice not cheap looking. feel strong and stirdy.I hope I’ll be wearing them for many years.💝

I wish I would have found these last year when I was searching up and down for the perfect boot. Last year a settled for a pair of Dansko that had a thin, fabric back which is not practical for winter. These Born boots are clearly made with high quality leather. The footbed feels like it was made for my foot within my first time slipping my feet in. I did order weatherproofing and I plan to take extra good care of these. They remind me of the moccasin boot I bought when I was a teenager at an Indian pow wow. I will update if needed if they wind up not being comfortable or as high quality as they appear to be. If you’re on the fence about these take the leap! They’re gorgeous. I’m generally a size 9-9.5 and I purchased a 9.5.
Maybe it’s just Born, but they were not comfortable for me! Weird feeling in the heel, almost like they were too big and were rubbing but toes were comfortable :/
The good: The boots are cute, comfortable and you can use the ties to custom fit your legs.The bad: The leather is floppy and smells strongly of beef; a deal-breaker. The height is short- I am 5'10" and they came up mid-calf; too short for me. The boots do run small per reviews- I wear a 10 and ordered an 11, which fit. The seller did not disclose that they charge a restocking fee ($9.68) so it is not a "free" return.
I love this brand so much I have 6 pairs of them, (2 ankle boots 4 of the taller ones other colors). I have to have a wide toe box from surgery where there was a problem reconnecting the tissue under big toe area. THESE HAVE IT. I also have plantar facia 'tis, heel spurs and extremely flat feet. I can wear this ALL DAY and walk to shop, even on concrete, and great support, no pain and my back and knees don’t start aching. Wish they made dress shoes but I wear the taller ones with dresses to work and I love them.
