Like wearing a sock! Stretch canvas hugs your foot and leaves no gaps. Low profile, split sole, with an eva heel for durability and suede forefoot for traction and turns. Child through adult so put your whole team in them! Salvatore Capezio was born in 1871 in Muro Lucano, Italy. Uninterested in following in his father's footsteps as a construction engineer, he became an artist of his own right, a cobbler. In 1887, at the age of 17, he opened his shop on Broadway and 39th Street, diagonally across from the old Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. Soon, the shop became a meeting place for dancers who would stop by to discuss their needs and to get a pair of his shoes. As Capezio's popularity grew, dancers from around the world made it a point to visit him and purchase his shoes. The innovation of the products that Salvatore Capezio created and the camaraderie he shared with the dancers molded the direction that his company would follow. In this image, the Capezio brand was established to promote and recognize ongoing achievements and participation in dance. Capezio products remain in the forefront in quality and in technological advances with innovations like the split-sole, the stretch-insert, the Dansneaker and the Tapsneaker. Capezio believes that their success is dependent upon the individual commitment of each customer to continually set new standards of creativity and performance, while preserving a reputation for dependability and distinction. Capezio pledges their support and dedication to the advancement of dance, theater and recreation in communities worldwide.

The girls' canvas dance jazz shoes are a fantastic choice for young dancers. The canvas material provides flexibility and breathability, ensuring comfort during extended dance sessions. The split sole design offers excellent arch support and allows for a full range of movement. The shoes also feature a secure lace-up closure, ensuring a snug fit. With a sleek and stylish appearance, these jazz shoes are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Overall, a great investment for budding dancers looking for quality and comfort in their footwear. Size up for a comfortable fit.
These are very nice jazz shoes-they literally do make you feel like you're dancing in your bare feet, or in socks. That being said, these are a form fitting jazz shoe, and you do need to size up. For me, I had to go up a size and a half. If your feet are even remotely wide, I would recommend two to two and a half sizes.
I wear a 12 slim(skinnier than natrow) in women's and tried three different sizes. 12 was too small. 13 was still tight on my big toe. Exchanged for a 13.5, which then costed $8 extra..... fit my toes perfect, but at that size the width became larger so it's not as snug around my foot....
I ordered these for my daughter based on reviews. Since they are supposed to fit like a sock, they were WAY too large. I had to reorder her street shoe size (her teacher key her try on her's since they wear the same size). They are supposed to fit tight. I have always orderedca size or 2 bigger from Capezio. In this case, don't go big.
I have missed return deadline. Please send me ANOTHER RETURN LABEL...
I ordered wide but they were no where near wide enough. I put a 22 ounce coke bottle inside them for 48 hours and it still takes me and her both to get them on her feet. Also went by size guide and what reviews said. She wear a youth size 3 street shoe and ordered a 6 wide. They are about 2 sizes too long and nowhere near long enough. Quality is real good though. I ended up getting her So Danica ones in a 4 and width c and they work so much better and have alot more stretch for wide feet.
Very comfortable, great quality shoes. I recommend without hesitation. Only thing to be aware of is the size. I’m normally a size 8 but bought a 9W based on other reviews I read and knowing I need wide shoes. Fit perfectly so maybe you need to size up? I wear regular thickness socks with mine. I normally dance for at least an hour and my feet are quite comfortable in them. I was wearing ballet flats before and my toes would hurt and some areas were pink which is what prompted my search for these shoes. You’ll love these shoes and the price is reasonable as well.
did not like was way to small . thank God for a free return
