They are comfortable,thin but I bought them for a Halloween outfit, but would were them with jeans , very pleased
Not purchased for dance but for reenactments in mid 1800s venues, these fit the bill and then some. Soled shoes often wore out and fixes weren't readily available so the extra dance cusion/leather makes these shoes realistic. The outdoor venues I work at require shoes of all actors and finding period laces, leather and appearance is tough for any budget under $50. My appearances are volunteer so there is no way to recoup expenses. I don't expect these to last beyond a summer season but they will be great props to show the wear and tear taken on shoes during long prairie treks. Just love these! Note these are truly narrow but my wide arthritic feet fit well and the ankle provides ample room for loosened laces. The heels re generous so cushions, extra insoles and padding should fit about anywhere except the toes and tip.
Well the name says it all. Cheap. That's not a bad thing. I bought these for a costume. They actually feel quite comfortable on but I am pretty sure they would not hold up to constant use. For my needs, they are perfect. I would have gone 5 stars but I think they may run a bit small. I accidently ordered a size and a half larger than I normally wear but they fit fine. There again, if I was wearing them constantly they might stretch out way too much but for a costume they are fine.
The First Bullet says this item is made of 100% leather. There is NO leather in the boot, except for the three very small pieces of suede on the sole. The upper is completely synthetic with no possibility of your feet breathing while dancing, creating hot, wet, sticky feet.The sole is NOT as pictured. Dancing often requires weight on the balls of the feet; thus, one needs a contiguous sole, not a small piece of sole and a tiny piece of sole beside it. (I am not referring to the heel here.) There are buckles in the synthetic fabric tucked under the boot that your feet will feel instead of feeling a smooth contiguous sole. It will hurt, even if you don't spend hours on the dance floor.This vendor's False Advertising is unacceptable and the vendor should not be allowed to sell on amazon.
It took a little over a month to get here, but I ordered far in advance of when I needed it. I did follow their sizing chart, it worked thankfully. They run about two sizes too small from what your normal American sizes should be. I like them a lot and they are perfect for my performance. Be aware they are a split sole, I'm not used to that, but will make do.
The boots looks nice and comfy but unfortunately I was missing a shoestring. I’m not sure why but yeah took a long time to come .
I bought them for my granddaughter and she loves them.
