Clarks prioritizes both comfort and timeless design. They are pioneers in foot-shaped technology, ensuring a perfect fit and all-day support. Their classic styles have transcended generations, while their commitment to innovation keeps them at the forefront of modern footwear trends.
great fit and nice qualitylove the zipper for easy ins and outs
Got both colors, olive green and tan leather in size 11.5 US, i normally wear size 11 US in Clarks but these shoes looked narrow on screen and I was right.I have slightly wide feet, these shoes are just a tad bit narrow at the cross area of my foot from where the big toe joint starts, to the little toe. It was slightly uncomfortable first wearing the tan leather one but when it broke in everything felt comfortable, the green one was comfortable right out the box and is lined with wool. It also comes with hang tags, that say "warmlined". The tan leather one is not lined and so does not have hang tags.Haven't worn these shoes out yet but i wore them around the house to break them in, the tan leather one is more resistant to bending than the olive green one which is why the former was uncomfortable at first then felt alright after breaking in.Durability, these shoes look like they would take a beating but I warn you, they may not. I come from quality clarks shoes, the desert boot, desert trek, desert mali, desert trooper, desert london, ballof up, desert coal hike, vulco guide, lugger...worn them all been there done that so i know quality when i see it. These shoes are mid level, not high tier quality like all the shoes i mentioned which stitches the sole to the upper but not low tier either. The stitching around the SOLEING area is fake, the threading is real but it DOESNT hold anything TOGETHER. I know this trick, shoes made in india use it, i have the grimsby craft which is also made in india and its the same trick used fake stitching which is threads that run through a vulcanized material which doesnt hold anything together. They're very good looking shoes but will not take a beating, hence only used occasionally. The Durston Hi is no different will just be used a bit more often as it is a placeholder.I got both of them from 6pm store, they arrived in immaculate condition with no problems, zipped the side down, put my foot in, zipped it up and adjust the laces. Wore them around the place for a couple hours to break them in and identify future points of failure, in my case it will likely be the outside area where the foot bends and the stitching meets, not sure but I'll see. For 70 dollars a pair its a decent enough deal. Dont pay more than 70 or 80 dollars for these, dont even pay 70 if you can swing it, they look durable but they're likely not as durable, im a shoe guy, i know my clarks. These look aesthetic but they're not dont seem as sturdy as the clarks shoes made in vietnam. If you're going for them, buy two and share the load between them. They cannot take daily beating.EDIT: Wore both out, these shoes are extemely light compared to what I normally wear (desert mali) and will hold up against constant, daily wearing but I warn u again that the tan won't age well, scratches show up on it when scratched and cannot come off. The green doesn't have scratches show on it because the leather is matte not glossy like the tan one. I cannot stress enough how comfortable and light these shoes are. Biggest word of advice is to not let water hit them else it's over.
Definitely for below freezing temperatures.Feels like house slippers when walking.Very warm materials.
These look good and feel great! Perfect fit! I would buy every color if they had it!
