Clarks, a name synonymous with comfort and quality, began in 1825 with two brothers, Cyrus and James Clark. Their story started with a simple idea: crafting slippers from sheepskin offcuts. This dedication to resourcefulness and innovation has been at the heart of Clarks for nearly 200 years.
Clarks prioritizes both comfort and timeless design. They are pioneers in foot-shaped technology, ensuring a perfect fit and all-day support. Their classic styles have transcended generations, while their commitment to innovation keeps them at the forefront of modern footwear trends.
They are very comfortable but I ware a size 10 I should have bought a size 9 1/2. They run large for some reason.
The quality of build and the feel and comfort of this boot is very nice. However, I am a solid 11 1/2 inch shoe and boot of any kind of brand. And I had to return 3 times to Amazon to finally get a size 10 that would fit me one and a half sizes too large
I love the looks and comfort of these boots. However, it takes a few wears and uses before it's formed to your feet.
Love my boots! Great fit and very comfortable!
Love the comfort, look and they don’t feel like anchors on my feet. God Bless
I really love these boots. I've bought many Clark's shoes in the past for their style and quality for the money.I've never had a problem with sizing before, so I ordered my regular size. However, these boots really run big, to the extent that my heels slip out of them, even with heavy socks. I reordered them a half size smaller and I'm hoping that's enough.
I returned these because they ran a bit too large, and I didn't want to go through the hassle of trying the smaller size to encounter a different fit issue. If they had fit well enough, I probably would have kept them, but the workmanship does look a bit lacking. You can see even in the photos used for the product listing that the gluing of the sole and the other layers between the sole and the upper are a little sloppy. I don't expect the detailing and workmanship you'd find in handmade shoes, or even more expensive shoes, and of course, it's not all that visible unless you're crossing your legs and staring at the side of the shoe, but the obvious visible sloppiness is a little disappointing, and I have to think it reflects somewhat on how well the sole and other elements of construction will hold up.
i like this shoe very much.
