Clarks, a name synonymous with comfort and quality, began in 1825 with two brothers, Cyrus and James Clark. Their story started with a simple idea: crafting slippers from sheepskin offcuts. This dedication to resourcefulness and innovation has been at the heart of Clarks for nearly 200 years.
Clarks prioritizes both comfort and timeless design. They are pioneers in foot-shaped technology, ensuring a perfect fit and all-day support. Their classic styles have transcended generations, while their commitment to innovation keeps them at the forefront of modern footwear trends.
These shoes are incredibly comfortable. Well made.
Loved the shoes. Very comfortable and lightweight. But they run small so I would suggest going up a half size.
These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. The heel is perfect and provides a little height since I've been wearing mostly flats now. The width and length are perfect and these are just right for the cooler temperatures. Highly recommended quality footwear.
I have always liked Clark shoes because they are so comfortable, but I have ordered five pairs in four separate styles in the last few months and all of them have been less comfortable than they were a few years ago. The insoles are not as plush as they once were. Additionally some of the insoles have an indented line in them that sits under the ball of my foot and I can feel it with every step.I will be more careful purchasing shoes from Clarks in the future. I still appreciate the styling, but it is not enough to overcome the discomfort I am feeling.
These are great for work, especially if you stand a lot or have to walk a considerable distance to/from the car or within a large facility. This is my second pair as I also have them in black. Great with slacks or jeans.
I think I'm done with Clarks. This is the third pair of shoes I've tried in the last few weeks. At least these the leather upper was fine and fit well but the sole and insides are now the cheapest, poorest quality. I've been purchasing Clarks for decades and the latest changes I'm seeing do not meet the quality I am accustomed to when buying and wearing Clarks. The molded material they are making the soles from is so poor and cheap. Slip resistant, not. They have no substance and provide no support. Though there is a bit of padding ("memory foam") lining the bottom of the shoe I can see that being compressed in no time. It is so thin and provides little cushion or support. In fact in the area of the toe box, it's so non-existent it feels like I might as well be walking on the EVA sole directly. I'm sorry but this shoe does none of what the description says - "enhanced heel and arch support, added durability and traction, luxurious, lasting cushioning."
Clarks make the best work shoes. TTS, comfortable out of the box and look professional with trousers or jeans.
Comfortable shoe though not a fashion style, but almost like a clog/ankle boot. It was offered in wide width and that sealed the deal. Not all merchants have wide widths.
