These boots are genuine leather for absolute sure! I have given the boot a 3 way testing to verify the upper material was genuine leather. They passed all 3 tests.These boots are so comfortable and supportive to the foot. They offer room in the toe box as well. The shaft is perfect for smaller calves not the big muscular ones.The sole and heel are very well made and nice looking.Over all these are fabulous boots and I would buy in both colors.
The leather was high quality. They fit well on my wide width feet. The calves are perfect for the average calf. Definitely not for a wide calf person. Wish they came in tan I would buy them.
The boot is well made and comfortable on the heel; however, I couldn't close the zipper on my 16" calves. I will return these boots with great disappointment.
I really felt swindled when I opened the box and immediately saw that these boots were not leather as I was expecting. The imitation leather looked synthetic before I’d even tried them on. I needn’t have bothered because I could barely get them on. Very poorly designed, these have no loop holes to pull with assisting. They’re narrow at the bottom and it was quite difficult to get my left foot in. When I finally managed to get it on, I couldn’t get the zipper to close at the calf. Not even close! I struggled for about 10 minutes and finally got the zipper up. The calf area of the boot was so tight that it created a leg roll like the back squeeze from a poorly fitting bra. Most unflattering in addition to being supremely uncomfortable. I’m not a bigger person at 5’5” 140 lbs., calves are toned & not bulky. I couldn’t get my right foot in at all. Kinda lost my motivation to keep trying at that point. These boots were a waste of my time & money.
I have not wore them yet but they feel comfortable, although I will still need to add extra support as I have very thin feet with some foot problems. The calve fits much better than most boots I have tried. These are great for thin long legs. I am 5’ 10” with very long thin legs and I am happy these boots will work. Finally, thank you!
Love these boots -- they look great, and they're really comfortable. I was a little worried when I read other reviews that they run narrow, but I had no trouble at all. I won't be able to wear thick winter socks with these, but that's okay, especially because they have a pretty substantial lining that's going to help with warmth in winter. If you have wide calves, be aware that the shaft of the boot is snug. I like it the way it is, but just know that it's going to be tight for some folks.
These are super comfy. However, the cal was narrow and the ankle wide. Strange fit and not very flattering. I have normal sized calves and have never had this problem before.
You need these if you have tiny calves!!! These are the first boots that do not look like waders on my legs. The measurements stated are accurate and while there is still a little bit of room given the small size of my calves despite working out, I am super excited! The insoles are soft and cushioning when you walk and the rubber soles are perfect for snow and ice. I replaced my 10 year old Aldo boots after the sole cracked with these and I have to say…I am liking these much better! So small calved girls…get you a pair today!!
