I was a little pessimistic when I 1st read the reviews about the discomfort with this shoe and also given my very wide feet. This shoe makes my fat feet look slender and beautiful. It fits my usual size which is 9w and it is very comfortable. I've been wearing them around the house since I'm working from home but I can't wait to return to work to show off my shoes. They're also look very professional. Will update with photos when I finally wear them to work. But I am in love with those shoes. I bought them in black and praline. Both fit great.So I finally got back to work. I've updated my pictures with both the black and praline. I walk around from 8 to 2:30 & these are really comfortable, professional as well as slimming. My number 1 work shoes right now.
This is the perfect dress shoe if you have to stand for any length of time. I don’t have wide feet, but i ordered a size 8 in both regular and wide, and found that the wide fit best. The regular is a little narrow through the toes making the material pinch/add pressure on the the top of my foot at the toes. Carmel color is a nice to wear with any outfit. I would definitely purchase again.
I ordered my normal dress shoe size 6.5. The length was fine but the toe box was too narrow for me.
As someone who has to look professional all of the time, these shoes are AMAZING for the price. I have lots of highend heels and pumps that are designer, but I go through them quickly since I tend to be heavy footed when I walk. I also tend to really abuse my heels since I walk a lot outside with them. While the inside material of these shoes are not as nice as brand names, the overall shoe handles the abuse and is comfortable. I would definitely buy them again and again. The price is right and I'm not replacing them within a month or two, and honestly no one has ever noticed that they are lower quality than my Micheal Kors or Ralph Lauren pumps. I your tired of constantly replacing your heels and paying highend prices, then I recommend these. Also, note I hate buying shoes and clothes off of Amazon so to find something that I actually like and would write a review for is a bit surprising.
The shoe is Clark's Linvale Crown Pump, 7.5 W. It is true to size, has a 2" (almost) kitten heel, a good neutral color, very similar to skin coloring, and a bit of padding at the heel, which I loved. The description says it's leather, and so does the stamp inside the shoe, but there were parts that did not feel like genuine leather, and the quality was not the best, especially where the top was attached to the sole. I expect Clark's shoes to be comfortable, but the quality seems to have fallen by the wayside in recent years. The toe box was too low and hit right at that part where the nerve and bone from your foot meet your toe. Wearing it just a few minutes around the house, I knew this was going to be a problem, and in fact, after 2 minutes, it left a mark. There is not a lot of padding in the sole area, but there's more in the heel than in the toe box, so if you have metatarsalgia, this shoe will cause a lot of pain. Back it went.
The fit is perfect. The heel size is good for me; not to high and not to low. The issue I have is the curve around the top of my foot (near the toe area), it digs into the top of my foot. It hurts when I wear them for a few hours. I made this purchase to wear at Church. I am thinking once they are broke in this issue will go away. However, I have only worn them once because I don't like to be uncomfortable and I do a lot of walking at Church. Otherwise, this shoe is perfect!
I am so surprised at how much I love these shoes! I broke my ankle a couple years ago and it is hard for me to wear heels anymore. These are so comfortable and easy to wear. I was able to wear them all day at work. I am highly impressed at the price point and quality. They do need to be broken in a bit when first purchased because they were a little snug at the top of the foot. The material will stretch and is perfect. I also like that the heel isn’t too high but it’s just enough to give a little boost.
