I have purchased four pairs of Cobb Hill shoes/boots. Three pairs were purchased on line and they run true to size. These shoes are comfortable from day one. No breaking period required. The choice of colors are great.
I researched for a long time to find quality, affordable walking heels, and am so happy with my purchase. I've worn these time and again to various styles of events--even all day, and love them. They are comfortable, my feet don't hurt, the arch support and heel cushion is great and there's room enough for my wide toes. The heel height is just right. I always get compliments on them! I got the brown - a nice, neutral caramel color. Now, I want a black pair. :)
Based on the price, low heel, & great dance reviews, these are the most promising option I’ve seen for the huge gap between DIY soled keds or $200 imported shoes! They’re supportive and looked & fit great, but I was really bummed to discover they felt too unstable and wobbly for dancing. The rubber soles are rounded under the edges, and the toe on the left shoe was crooked - not enough to be very obvious but enough to make the shoe more off balance so when I shift my weight to the outside the shoes were super prone to rolling. If they were more affordable I would have kept/loved them as street shoes, but for the high price and as a swing dancing shoe I will keep looking. They felt fine walking or doing a few practice steps but it felt like all it would take is landing slightly off center and the shoe’s going to snap over sideways instantly. Sadly returning them, it’s just not worth the ankle risk.
The bottoms are rubber like so there is no slipping. The arch is in the right spot and although firm, it is also soft so there is no bump digging in your arches and only cushy support. The heels are clearly present although not so high to pose a scare. Very well made. Nice looking. Presents a very classic look.
My feet are super high needs, and this shoe works great.I have sensitive feet, sensitive skin, morton's neuromas, and plantar fasciatus. So if I say, its comfortable, you know it truly is!I can't wear pointy toes, bc I need shoes wide enough in the ball and toe area. And I have thin, narrow heels, so many shoes slip up and down on the heel. I'm a mature woman, and I'm not really a Mary Jane person. This shoe has enough other styling so that it doesn't scream Mary Jane style even though it has some tings in common with a Mary Jane structure wise.As a shorter lady with longer feet, I often have trouble with loafers, pumps, and flats being too tall in the heel area so that the top of the shoe jabs the skin that covers my short ankle bones. But this didn't happen with this show. And that's such a relief!Nice padding and arch support too! I didn't need to add any sort of orthotic or heel grips or anything.I ended up getting them in 3 basic colors:) So I'm all set for office attire. They will go with dresses or pants in the warmer weather. I imagine I could probably get away with wearing them with socks as needed if paired with longer slacks.
I really love these shoes. They are well made, cute and don't make me feel like an old lady (I'm in my 30s). They're comfortable and stable to walk in, have a very low heel, have great arch support and I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. I got the tan color because it was neutral and would go with more but will likely buy the black as well. A little more pricey, but well made and comfortable! I don't feel like there was any break in period either. First time I wore them was at an event that was about 3 hours and the next time it was all day- no blisters or regrets :)
Shoe was comfortable, but color was grey, not navy.
I have plantar fasciitis and neuropathy, so I’m always looking for comfortable shoes. These are supportive and very comfortable even wearing all day. My feet are more on the narrow side, although narrow with it sometimes too tight. I ordered both medium and narrow size 10 and Decided on the narrow.
