Very nice and well made shoe. They ran too small for my girls. I read reviews that some wrote "fit as expected" or "true to size" but that was not the case for us. Each girl wears a size 7 and a size 6 1/2 so I ordered a 7 for both, both were way too small so we re-ordered a size 8. This new order now fits and it's a very close fit, not room to grow. Want to add that each girl has different types of feet, one is more wide and the other has a skinnier/thin foot. So we always get the girl with the wider feet a 1/2 size up (even though she does not require a "wide" shoe) Hope that helps. These shoes are worn like a sock so the fit needs to be "fitted" but they were very binding so we had to go with bigger size.
Excellent shoes but definitely a whole size too small. Ordered an 8 because I needed a 7.5. These were way too small and had to return for a size 9 pair, which are comfortable and fit perfectly. Well made as far as I can tell and have held up for a few hours so far. I don't know if they will last over the longer haul, but they do seem as if they will.
I was skeptical that they would fit because they look tiny out of the box, but they are like a second skin and molded quickly and perfectly to my daughters feet. She wears a size 7 women in street shoes and we ordered a 7 women. I was a dancer and so I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to cheap dance shoes, but these look and feel great even though they were inexpensive. Highly recommend.
These run a little small, but not nearly as bad as the Bloch. My daughter wears a 9.5 street shoe, so we ordered several different shoes in size 10. These are snug, but she had socks on instead of tights, and I expect that they may stretch a bit. I would size up 1/2 to 1 size depending on how tight you want these to be. They are nice and soft- time will tell how durable they are.
Based on other reviews I expected these to be tighter, but they only ran about 1/2 size smaller than my street shoe size (I wear a ladies 9 1/2-10 and ordered a 10 with a good fit). The shoes are comfy and a bit better looking than the pictures, but the soles were glued on somewhat askew and seem as though they won't last long. Fortunately they're costume shoes and will only be worn a very few times (and not danced in) but I wouldn't think they'd be good for the long haul. If I needed shoes for ongoing dance use I'd likely spring for a slightly higher quality shoe.
It's a good and comfortable shoe but you MUST size up! I ordered my usual size 8 but it was too snug. I returned and got 9. It fits great now! Good value too.
My daughter is extremely pleased with these shoes. The sole and heel are slightly tapered toward the edges making them feel natural on her feet. The leather upper around the forefoot is snug but not uncomfortable and the elastic holds well and forms to the curve of the foot nicely. The elastic looks like it will last a long time. The elastic on her last shoes pulled away from the upper.
Bought a size women 8 and they were to small so I'm returning them. Didn't realize at the time of purchase that not only do they charge you a return shipping fee they also charge a 15% restocking fee. Will not shop from Dance 4 Less again! Maybe they run small on purpose to charge everyone restocking fees!
