After reading a ton of recommendations and reviews, I decided to get these.Dansko always had a great reputation for support in their clogs, but I was unsure about men’s shoes. When these arrived, I was pleased with the appearance and fit was right on. They required little break in time and were almost immediately comfortable. My only knock is that they are on the heavy side, but after a few days, it’s not noticeable.If you spend a lot of time on your feet and need a solid, casual dress shoe that’s comfortable and durable, look no further. These are a great choice.
At first when I bought these shoes I was hesitant. Amazon had them at a price that was almost half of the market price. I worried if they were damaged of previously worn. That was not the case! These shoes arrived in excellent condition. They had a scuff on the left shoe but nothing a shoe shine couldn't fix. I bought 2 pairs! Amazon.com is the best at satisfying it's customers. I ordered these shoes on a Monday morning with 2 day shipping, they arrived the next day! I am satisfied with the Dansko shoes and also Amazon's customer service and unbeatable prices!These shoes are so comfortable! Dansko shoes are amazing. They are one of the best shoes out there. You can't go wrong with Dansko! These shoes are water-proof and made of a high quality leather. They have a polyurethane sole so they will never crack. The insole of this shoe is specially made and is great to help fight against foot odors and athletes foot. The shoe laces are even high quality. I doubt they will ever break. They are also very light! The heel of the shoe has what's called a "rocker-bottom", which means the heel curves up on the end of the shoe. This allows more natural walking from heel to toe and helps propel you forward while you walk. They align your body so that it relieves the tension in your legs and back after a long day of being on your feet. This shoe is recommended by orthopedic doctors. You can't go wrong with these Dansko shoes!!
I take care of my shoes (Marines and Law Enforcement background). Made a career change and got these shoes to attend the CIA. Over the course of a year, I rumbled through every kitchen obstacle and spill imaginable, coupled with two of the worst winters in recent upstate NY memory. Anyone that knows anybody that has gone through the CIA can attest to the rigors of Fish Fab and other fine areas. These shoes have no wear, no tear, funkiness, or really anything wrong with them. I'll point out... the slip-resistant is not idiot-proof no matter what shoe you buy... mind the copious amounts of beef stock and miscellaneous fat/fluids on the red tile floors. However, if you walk within your means and you're going to be fine. I recommend these, highly!I also have the Dansko croc-type, but they felt a little too high-heelish to me, and I feared shattering my ankle on the few hundred steps and slick kitchens, which is what led me to these... much better and more secure!
Finally a pair of tough, and comfortable shoes. These are worth the money. I was tired of Rockports wearing holes in the soles after 9 months, and finally found a good brand.These are comfortable, have decent slip resistance and they are tough! I did knock off one star because they do run small and are tight in the toes. I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear on the advice of other reviewers and they were still a little tight during break in, but are now great!
After 15 months of use, I have no plans of replacing mine. The only thing on this that has worn out are the insoles, which I replace every 3-4 months. These are tough, heavy shoes with a harsh break-in period, but after a few weeks of use the leather breaks down and softens up, and what you're left with is a comfortable, well-fitting leather shoe.

This is my first time with this brand. They are heavier and shallower than I'd expect, but very supportive and comfortable. I do wish they could be a bit more breathable.Update: after wearing them for two days I'm finding them less tolerable. The base of the shoes are heavy and quite tough which makes your footsteps very loud. Additionally one of them makes a funny/squishy noise with each step. Today as I walked down a quiet hallway with hard floors the noises were so loud I found it embarrassing. I cannot recommend this pair of shoes anymore.
