These are my favorite slip-ones. I wear them every where. They are so comfortable and cozy!
I put these in the trash after I wore them approx 3 times. Very flimsy one of the straps broke in a way that could not be repaired. I should have returned them.
First off, you know how comfortable these are going to be as soon as you take them out of the box. When I tried to slip my foot in, the straps were adjusted in a way that made them too small, which isn't a problem thanks to the buckle.At least in theory, haha!It took a long time because getting the buckle into a hole that was appropriate for my foot, was quite the challenge. The holes are very small, and that coupled with the fuzzy shearling, made it difficult to find the insertion point.Frustrating, but so worth it for the custom fit and fabulous comfort.
They broke
So comfortable and cozy , I find them to be a perfect house shoe (or out).These cork soles and the thick shearling is the best combination .Good for all seasons because the wool will not overheat your feet.The cork should start to mold to your feet in time marking these even more perfect.These are the sandals that you don’t need to wear socks with in the colder weather.Adjustable straps for added comfort.Fireside slides and slippers are great quality and I now own several pair and love them all.
I have several pairs of dearfoam slippers and they're almost all great. But these ones are truly awful. They're way too small. The fur is all over the place. The quality is terrible. I definitely recommend passing these up. If you do buy themm, you need to make sure you get a size bigger. At least one size bigger as they run extremely small.
I love the designs on the straps and you SINK into them and their plush padding. They're so luxurious to wear on warmer nights but I keep them in the house because I don't want their beautiful white fur to get dirty.
I got the Dearfoams Women's Fireside Tamworth Shearling Slide Sandal with Cork Footbed and Adjustable Buckles in size 7, black. I have several Dearfoams shoes and love the premium Fireside line, but these are a total mess.I wear a 7 1/2, but went for a 7. Sizing up might have helped, as the 7 was a bit short, even though I own several Dearfoams 7's. The straps are odd. The smallest settings are too small for my fingers, much less anyone's foot. Then, readjusting is a mess since I have to figure out how to get the buckle through the shearling layer and into the hole. I think maybe the second strap could be placed farther back. As is, I got the first strap sized correctly, but I can go too big or too small on the second strap. I might need to punch my own hole.The shearling doesn't seem properly cut to the shoe. It flies out everywhere from the strap and sole. It is not neatly cut like the product pictures. Plus, it sheds like no other. I've never had Dearfoams' shearling shed before.I like the idea of these. I wanted to wear them everywhere because the sole is great for actually walking in. But the fit isn't great, the look is messy, and the shedding is out of control. I don't find these comfortable at all. They're a huge disappointment.
