Lightweight these slip-on shoes have a decently cushioned innersole with arch support and the combination creates a comfortable experience. The fabric upper is breathable and the sole is textured which provides traction on wet or slippery surfaces. A big plus—the shoes are machine washable in cold water on the gentle cycle, no bleach and dry flat. I selected a size 8 1/2 shoe which is my usual size. My foot is somewhat wide between a B and C width and it took some effort to get my foot through the shoe opening. After they were on there was plenty of room in the toe box and the length was fine and even the opening did not constrict so I’m not sure if moving up a half size would have helped.This area is usually not a problem for me and I think the shoe design simply doesn't have sufficient give to easily slip on the shoe. This issue could have been mitigated if there were usable loops at the back of the heel edge to assist in pulling the shoes on but although there is a loop it is perfectly flat against the shoe too tight to slip a digit under. I almost never use a shoe horn but in this case it is a necessity. Perhaps with time the opening will stretch.

These are a great all around shoe. They are sporty and casual but can also be dressed up because of the gray and black colors. I wear them for walking and as an everyday shoe. Liked them so much I purchased them in another color.
The reviews for these slip-on sneakers are all over the place regarding sizing: too small, too big, too narrow, too wide, and just right. I normally wear between an 8.5 and a 9, but since an older pair of Dearfoam slip-ones from last year fit right with a 9, I went with that size. Wrong choice. I feel like my feet are swimming in these if I don’t wear thick socks. They verge on being too wide for my medium width feet, and they are a little too long. I had hoped to wear these without socks. That’s not going to happen. If you are between sizes, order the smaller size if you want to do that.Despite the sizing issue, these sneakers are comfortable. They don’t look clunky, as I had feared. They have elasticized openings and a stretchy ribbed section over the top of the foot that hold in my feet even though the shoes themselves are too big.I like these shoes. I have the Dearfoams Elena Slip-On Sneakers in the “Grey” color option, which is dark grey with black accents. The outer sole is black.The outer sole is hard; these are real sneakers you can wear everywhere, all day. When worn around the house to test out the comfort, I noticed the soles picked up dust and hair very quickly. The shoes are machine washable (gentle cycle, cold water; air dry) so they are easy to clean.The sneaker are true to size and medium width. Size 10 fits like a size 10. The insides of the sneakers are the same breathable knit mesh as the outside, and there are no annoying seams to bug your toes.The slip-on opening at the ankle is snug. There are loops on the back of the sneakers to help pull them on. The inner sole is comfortable memory foam. The sneakers are super comfortable, very close to a pair of Dearfoam slippers.
I’ve had these shoes for about 6 months and they are wonderful! I took out the original insole and I’m using a heavy duty all day insole which fit well in the shoe. The shoe is a bit stretchy, easy on and off, has held up well with daily use for 8+ hours. It has not lost its shape or stretched too much and there’s minimal evidence of wear, as expected for any inexpensive shoe. I’m very happy and would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone. For reference, I have wide feet, usual size 10 (their size 10 fits and allows for my wide feet), but I do recommend buying your own insole if you have problems like foot pain or discomfort like myself. My feet are picky but they love these shoes!
