Brazil Boat Shoe with Tiebow Detail.....as some reviews stated this shoe does run a bit small...I added a half size and it fit fine. I love the brown color and very nice non skid sole. Very satisfied with my purchase. I normally do not order shoes, but I took a chance on these since they are leather...Leather is forgiving and will conform to a good fit after a short time wearing. This shoe is doing just that...would recommend...but do add at least a half size is my suggestion.
This does not need to be "broken in" like so many leather shoes and the thicker and wider sole is very comfortable and durable. The stark white of the sole is a little bit jarring at first but easily to adapt to. The other Driver Club moccasins I tried had a little thin sole which is also narrower than the shoe so it was easy to over-run on the side and to turn one's ankle since the whole foot is not supported by the sole. The price a a bit steep but it the shoe will last as long as a pair of leather shoes bought thru a discount store then the price will have proved itself. The toe-box is a little narrow for my taste but not a deal-breaker. The two improvements they could make is to sew the shoe onto the sole instead of gluing it, and get rid of the heat-retaining sub-insoles that are beneath the leather top insole. Most likely I will soon pull the insoles out and replace the synthetic part with a wool-felt insole to wick away sweat.
Love that Driver Club carries small sizes (5-5.5) which are often hard to find without "going to kids" styles, love the choice of colors besides blue, black, brown, (yes these are blue but a very nice stylish blue) and fit my old feet like a dream!! Shoes can be dressy or casual with one's mood or attire. No break in period was needed for any of the shoes have ordered over the past several years... My preference is the Nubuck leather but need to be careful not to wear in the rain esp if the style is Driver's shoes with the soles the way they are made. Am finding this particular style keeps my feet comfy no matter how much I am on them.. Probably have 5-6 different styled pairs - in wonderful colors - in closet now and always keeping my eye open for them to go on sale or have the smaller size available. Took a chance on my 1st buy and have never regretted...and they were RED!!
Navy leather/white bottoms- I ordered my normal size and they were 1/2 size too big.
These shoes are thin and don’t fit well . They stretch to the side . I’m very disappointed
I love this style of shoe and this is an excellent example of the style. Leather is real , yes from a cow not a laboratory. My size 7 fits great and is soft with good support. Do wish they were still available on Amazon.
These are surely for narrow feet. I bought a half size bigger and still they squeeze my foot into a solid mass at the toes. Couldn’t even take a single step. They are going back. Pretty but I want 10 toes not two huge ones.
I now have 4 pairs of Driver USA shoes and love them. Most comfortable everyday footwear!
