My wife wore these shoes for two straight conventions, 12 hours a day for 3 days in a row each time, walked upwards of 10 miles each day in them and had no complaints. They fit her correctly and did not cause blisters or irritation.
Shopping for shoes online is always hit and miss. I wanted these to fit so much, but they didn't like my feet at all.Seemed like a quality shoe too. Bummer.
The shoes are cute and cute on, once you manage to get them on. Out of the box they looked super narrow. I'm a straight 8.5m no wide, no narrow. I think once the shoe is on it fits a bit loose if you wanted to wear without socks and just right with a normal sock. My issues are they are so hard to get on and to need to stretch the top flap upwards almost to the extreme to manage to shimmy your foot in, the leather is very stiff. Definitely need a shoe horn. They could have easily solved that issue by putting a small strip of elastic in each side instead of just sewing that top to the side down. I'm not confident it will hold up honestly. One side is glued and already looks like it could give way. (I'm overseas so it's not worth it to send back honestly. ) The next issue at least for me is that the outside edge under the ankle hits me right under my ankle bone, definitely going to cause blisters, again very stiff leather. I'll have to put some padding in there to push it away from the ankle itself. And last is just the general things I noticed, glue a bit near the soles, the weak stitching as mentioned near the join, the stiff leather that seems a bit plastic looking. I've had much nicer leather.Positive: They are cute and look good, give a bit of height, they are comfortable on the insert, which is memory foam and the insert is removable. If I were within cheaper postal distance these would have gone straight back. I'm glad I got them for almost half the RRP (right after I bought they went up almost double), I'd have been seriously angry to pay that much for shoes of this quality.(Next day)I wore the shoes for a couple blocks and came back with huge blisters on my pinky toes. This is after I raised the insole a bit with a pad so it wouldn't rub under my ankle which helped. But I had to take them off on the sidewalk!
