Ordered this shoe for my son's wedding in my usual size. It was 1/2 size too big & my foot slid all over even with ankle strap. In a couple days I received the next size down, and it was perfect. I needed a low 1-inch, broad wedge for stability due to an old ankle injury, which was next to impossible to find on-line. Initially with the lightly padded insole it was more comfortable than I thought it would be, but thought it may not be so good after 6 hours on my feet. I came prepared for the long evening with bandaids and sparkly flip-flops (!) expecting to change into them after the ceremony... Believe it or not, the whole afternoon and evening went by without even thinking about my feet! No blisters or achiness, and more importantly no missteps or turned ankles! They were perfect for this special event. The silver sparkled finish was nicer & looked better than others I'd tried-- dressy but not too bling-y.
They are very pretty shoes but run at least one size bigger. My daughter normally wears a 8.5 shoe I ordered these and we had to send them back. I exchanged for a 7.5 and they are still just a little big.
These are absolutely beautiful! Very appropriate for a wedding. They were also very cushiony when the heel makes contact with the ground. My only complaint is that the strap in back and on the side were you fasten it rubbed on my skin. I ended up with rub marks in both areas on both feet.
I have a Morton's neuroma and can't wear most dress shoes. I got these to wear to my niece's formal wedding reception. They looked great, dressy enough for the occasion. And they were comfortable enough for me to keep them on all evening. The wedge heel really makes a difference.
I liked the unique look of these shoes. However, I noticed there was nothing on the soles that would prevent me from slipping. At my age I could not take that chance so I returned them.
I usually use 7 and these were too small. I fit a size 7 Skechers and Guess shoes just fine.I think the sizing is completely off. Plus the quality felt very cheap.
I got these for a wedding that I wanted a shiny shoe, but the ceremony was in the grass. My dress was long so all you would see was the front they were comfortable first where I would definitely recommend them and believe they fit true to size.
I ordered the shoes for my BILs wedding and I thought I ordered 8 wides. I did not receive wide shoes. The shoes were pretty though they loos sparkles from the heel if you touch it. Thew were not comfortable at all. I actually have brusing on my toes and an open sore on my heal from them. Don't buy if you have wide feet. The sizing lies.
