ECCO, a Danish footwear brand founded in 1963 by Karl Toosbuy, began with a simple yet revolutionary idea: creating comfortable shoes that mimicked the barefoot walking experience. Toosbuy believed that shoes shouldn't restrict the natural movement of the foot, and ECCO's commitment to ergonomic design has been at the heart of the brand ever since.
ECCO prioritizes both comfort and style. They utilize innovative technologies and premium materials to create shoes that are anatomically shaped, lightweight, and flexible. ECCO also boasts a keen eye for design, offering a range of styles that are both functional and fashion-forward.
These shoes were purchased for my mother (70) to wear all day at church. I encouraged her to spend a bit more for a better product. Thank goodness I was correct. The shoes are comfortable. she has wide feet but felt that gave her room and did not make her morons neuroma hurt. She feels that they are a classic look, her feet were doing well after an all day church event, and her back felt better than when wearing her other shoes. She would be looking for other colors as it was a great experience for her and her feet. Recommends them to anyone who wants comfort with a bit of style.
This is a very comfortable shoe. I like the very basic look of a plain pump because it goes with everything, whether I'm dressing up or dressing more casually. After breaking my ankle all of my old high heels are history. This shoe has just enough height to look good, but not so high that I feel wobbly walking in it. I would recommend this shoe if you are looking for comfort and style.
The ECCO Women's Sculptured 45 Plain Dress Pump, looks good, has a slight arch that supports my flat feet. However, the left shoes slips up and down when I walk...the right shoe fits great. Not sure if it is my feet or the shoe. Because it was comfortable, looked good and had some arch, I decided not to return them. I added extra cushioning in the left shoes and it works.
I read a lot of the reviews for this shoe and they were right, they are so comfortable. It was a little big in the heel for me but I bought heel gripper to help. The style is very classic, nothing fancy. I actually look forward to the next time I need to wear these.
These shoes run a little large. They are extremely uncomfortable. I am not even sure how they can be as miserably painful as they are since the heels are so low and they aren't tight and don't pinch or rub in any way.. I think it is because there is absolutely no padding in the shoes and they are also very, very stiff with no give or flexibility. I needed a low heeled black pump to wear to work. Now, over 24 hours since I took them off, the bones in my feet are still in pain.
I have been having a problem with "hammer toes" for the past couple of years. I have to wear dress shoes at work every day & I have struggled to find a pair of shoes that fit comfortably & still look good. These shoes are it! They look great & feel great. I come home after being on my feet all day & I am pain-free! These are great shoes & my only complaint is that they are not available in more colors! BUY THESE SHOES!!
I am returning these shoes, not because they aren't wonderful, but because I have some foot problems that make it quite difficult to buy comfortable shoes that fit well. They were very comfortable as long as I didn't walk in them--not too practical! I have problems with bunions and the heel was just a little too high for my foot. They are good looking shoes and I wish that they had worked. I bought the slightly lower style with the wedge heel and they were most comfortable for me. Anybody else would probably find the higher heel quite comfortable.and stylish.
I love Ecco shoes, and if you find that these shoes fit you, they are a very nice quality shoe that anyone would be proud to wear to work. Unfortunately, they were way too small. I wear (wore?) a 40 in Ecco shoes, so I ordered these in a 40. Usually in American sizing, I wear a 8 1/2 to a 9, and 40 is supposedly a 9 to 9 1/2, but in the past I've work 40s in Ecco and they fit. They other thing I liked about Ecco shoes is that they are (were?) wide enough in the toes.Unfortunately, this beautiful pair of shoes is too small overall, and too narrow in the toes, even in my usual size 40. I'm sad that I must return them, and I don't think even a longer size would fix the problem of narrow toes.If these were to fit you, they are a nice shoe, but buy with caution, because unless you have the right kind of foot, you'll feel like Cinderella's stepsister as you try to cram them on.
