Awesome shoe! Normally I don't expect too much from a shoe in this price range; BUT I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are and at how nice and classy they look with a posing suit. Based on many of the reviews, I initially ordered a size 6 (I'm a 7) but they were wayyy too small and super tight. So I ordered a size 8 a few months after and they are great! A bit of room in the front and back but not anything that looks ridiculous. So if you buy these for stage, I think it's kind of nice to have a bit of extra room so that your toes stay in your shoe.
I love the shoes they fit great!!!! Able to walk in and very comfortable. I am a thick African American woman with hips and a nice backside...they hold me up and VERY sturdy. Once you put your foot in them and push your toes toward the front the plastic expands for a snug a comfortable fit. I think I got a size 11 and I wear a 10 it fits perfect
The shoes were a little tight upon first wear but I used a blow dryer to stretch them. The shoes are amazing. They are the only heels I can walk around in and dance for hours and have no pain or discomfort. I definitely recommend them. Only wish I could find other shoes with this same inner sole.
The cushion of the sole, the quality of the materials, the shoe is perfect other than the large very visible scuff on the side by the toes. Scuff was surprising considering how well packaged these were. Stuffing to keep the toe piece shape, wrapping around the buckles, considerable packaging around each shoe fully, and the box is thick and sturdy. The shoes themselves have some quality-feeling weight to them. They are comfortable to walk in and they look great. I am a size 6.5W-7 in most shoes but followed the advice of other reviews and bought a size 8 and they fit perfect. For me, i didn’t have to use the hair dryer to loosen anything, it was that perfect of a fit. I am only marking it down a star for the scuff but these are otherwise 5-star shoes and i highly highly recommend.
I’m normally a size 8 and sized up to a size 9 and couldn’t even get my foot in. Disappointed.
I love my Ellies 🥰 This is my first pair of Ellies and I am impressed. I had a pair of Pleasers but my fake friend who is no longer my friend stole them. I bought this pair for every day wear. I stretched them with a hair dryer and shoe horse. They are very comfortable. The foot bed is soft. The small platform does great absorbing impact of walking. I wore these for 6 hours of walking, standing and dancing with no problems. And I LOVE the square- round toe
I received them today 2/15/24. They look used. The bottom of the heels are scuffed and bumpy. I'm not sure if the black part is going to fall off. The straps by the buckle area/ankle are yellow. You can see a foot imprint. There's dirt stuck in the plastic part. The edges of the heel are sharp. I was hoping to have heels to practice my posing in.
Grabbed these for my first beach body competition - they fit perfectly, and appreciated that the sole is a little wider than other brands and styles. After lots of practice, I was very comfortable walking in them and posing. I personally added an additional support on the shoe to help move more of my weight toward my heel rather than my toes/ball of my foot. These could easily be bedazzled with the glue and stones, though I don't see myself doing that just yet.
