I put them on immediately and not only were they comfortable but fit true to size 8.5 M. They appear well made and easy to slip in to. Toe is a bit more rounded than my Chelsea boots but I don’t mind. Great price and classic!

I had been eyeing these particular boots through multiple vendors for quite a few months to get the best deal and of course amazon had the best pricing! I was looking for a high quality moto/biker boot that was low key and not overtly 'biker-style'; low key enough to even wear with a long skirt. These boots are simply amazing! The design is perfect; lug sole, but not too chunky, a bonus! Highest quality of leather; very supple. I have a slightly larger calves so the fact that there is a strap to adjust it a bit was priceless. I also have a slightly wider foot and these boots could accomodate the extra width without discomfort. The fit is exactly as I expected. I am a size 7.5 shoe but a size 8 in a boot because I wear a midweight sock with my boots. So I ordered my usually 8's, despite the many reviews saying 'too large, size down'. The 8's are perfect! I have a feeling that perhaps many of the reviewers may be wearing them either sockless or with a lite stocking/hose/tight. So I would suggest going with your normal boot size. Beautiful boot, pricey but definitely worth every penny on sale. These are classic and will last for years with proper care. Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend these!

Love love LOVE these boots! I had purchased a pair last year from Saks that my daughter borrowed—and loved— so I let her keep them. Shortly after that, I realized that I MISSED those boots and started looking around for another pair. Apparently ALOT of folks felt the same way as I could not find another pair anywhere—except the resellers who were asking TWICE the price, and then some! I happened to run across the LAST PAIR in my size here on Amazon, from Zappos, at a GREAT price, so it was a no brainer! Placed my order and received them within 2 days. These were exactly the same boots that I had previously purchased from Saks, and I couldn’t be more pleased! Excellent quality, love the look, the fit is spot on—just an ideal purchase.

I have a terrible time finding footwear that looks stylish and fits my wide, flat feet, bunions, and the fact that my right foot is a 9 and my left almost a 9.5. These boots are not as sleek and stylish as I'd like, and more than I wanted to spend, BUT they felt comfortable the minute I slipped them on (oh, yes, I also have a wide calf and must have zippers!), and I was able to wear them to work the first day, ALL DAY, with total comfort -- incredible. They are mid-calf on me and looked cute in the mushroom color (which, by the way, is not the bland camel color depicted, but a richer color with less orange -- a great neutral that pairs with anything), with white jeans -- and I did receive a compliment from a coworker. I was able to fit comfortably in a size 9. I felt enough arch support that I didn't bother with the arch supports I usually insert in my footwear. I will try one of their flats next.

I have worn and loved several pairs of Gentle Souls shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I have had, so I wanted to try some boots. I ordered my regular Gentle Souls size, and the boots fit great with a medium sock. I feel the boots are very comfortable. I can and I have worn them walking all day, and they give me the support I need. I will agree with the other reviewer that I don't consider Kenneth Cole shoes to be comfort shoes. BUT Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole are not ordinary Kenneth Cole Shoes. Gentle Souls shoes are a comfort brand with very soft insoles and nice leather. The boots were not designed to be "warm" boots; however, they are warmer than many other fashion boots because they have a thicker sole - your feet stay further from the cold ground, so I do find them to be pretty warm. These boots are well made and will last for a long time. The leather gets softer each time I wear them.

I’ve had this same boot for over 10 yrs and decided I needed a fresh pair. So disappointing—the price was great. But, style and stiffness was very different. There’s a crease on the buckle side. The leather is not as soft and buttery as it was in my original boot. The interior lining is not the soft suede it once was as well. Overall the style appears similar but I will keep on touching up my original 10+ years old boots, they are the real deal.

These boots were really comfortable, so I am sad to send them back. Good style, looks good with boot-cut jeans. Unfortunately, for me, ehe finished leather just doesn't look like the high-quality leather that will hold up year after year. They were shiny and the leather looked man-made (altho it says it's leather). For the price-point they're a good purchase. Just not for me.

They are everything I was hoping for. The height is a little lower than expected, but I consider it better than being too high, because I'm only 5'1". They fitted me perfectly. I didn't even had to adjust the top buckle.
