Ordered for my brother to work in. He could not find these in stores. It is his second pair. He says they are comfortable and super durable. They did look and feel super durable. I have to take his word on the comfort part.Expensive, but he said they are worth every penny.
So far they are good looking boots, and well made. The test will come when they are put to the test of going to work and taking on the snow and whatever we have to give them. I had this brand before with great results so hoping for the same results.
These boots fit perfect and r super comfortable if u have always wanted a pair of Georgia loggers definitely try these and if u don't like them you can send them back but I love these boots I personally used Obenaufs heavy duty LP on my boots Obenaufs is the best leather protector on the market georgia boots also have a great warranty if anything is wrong with your boots for the first year they will fix them and if you have nothing wrong with a boot in the first year then chances r they will last you a lifetime especially if you r using a leather protector like Obenaufs try these boots you won't regret it
The best boot on the market. I have bought these boots for last 10 years because their great boot. I have tried them all. These last longer and stand up to elements better than others.
These are well made and pretty heavy duty boots. Pretty comfortable, even on the first wearing. My only complaint is that the tongue is so bulky it's hard to lace the uppers without it bunching up. That said, the boot is solid - when a log bumps your toe on the way down or rolling you're safe. Grip on the ground and over logs is good too.
I bought these for one of those stubborn men that would rather walk around with the sole of his holey boot flapping around than spend money on new boots. I am hoping these will lessen the complaining about his back/knees and make his feet smell less too. They took a bit longer to arrive than expected and when they did they showed up in plastic that showed what was inside which could have ruined the surprise had I not stopped home. They are beautiful boots.
I haven't even had them 6 months yet and they have half dollar size holes in both toes. And the leather is falling apart where the toe folds. The rubber has also separated from the boots. As someone who works in the woods everyday, I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND wasting your time or hard earned money.
Let's see; I have been wearing Chippewa Super Loggers boots for years. Love them. I buy my size and BAM they fit. Every time. Comfortable too. I decided to try these Georgia Logger boots instead. For a change. Let me say this; they are far from the most comfortable boots, logger or otherwise, I have ever owned. Very tight to pull on and off. No give to them. Once on, they fit, shoe size-wise, but they (for myself anyway) seem to require a LONG break-in period. The first 3 days at work wearing these, I was in discomfort. My ankles/lower leg areas felt like I had a vice on each lower leg. Or, like I was wearing cement shoes, from about 8" down. I almost gave up. I learned that you cannot lace them up tight. It will hurt you throughout the day if you do. So, I started lacing them somewhat loosely. Not as painful like that BUT, now my socks were in a ball, under my feet, within the first 10 steps I took. I'm trying to find a happy medium here. It seems they have started to 'settle down' a little after wearing them all day for about 6 work days. But at this point, I don't feel like I could recommend them, as uncomfortable as they are. I'm giving them 3 STARS b/c they seem to be letting up a little. But if you want GREAT logger boots that fit, are comfortable and last, well, Chippewa Super Loggers.
