Very comfortable. Break in fast and after adjusted fit like a nice slipper. They have good traction when putting the foot down on gravel or painted asphalt. These boots are made for riding a touring bike for hundreds of miles. Not for hiking. Probably won't last long if hiking.
Nice boots
I'm a 11 1/2 normal width foot. I usually get 12 for some comfort room but in motorcycle boots I don't want too much extra to control at the toe. When I saw that these ran large I decided to just get my true size 11 1/2. They are snug but not too tight after breaking in. Took about 3 weeks. I think this is a great boot for someone with wider feet and narrow toes. I have a more narrow foot with wide toes. Yes you read that correctly it is from wearing flip flops. I have luau feet. There is more room in the middle but my toes are pretty snug but once again this is my personal problem. After you have zipper up side boots you really dont want anything else and my last pair zippered up on one side. This dual zipper design requires some technique to put on and I'm still perfecting it. It is far from fast but convenient compared to lacing. I have a 10minute ride to work and don't need to spend minutes putting on and taking off boots. I wear them into work and when under a work pants leg they can pass for shoes. These have pull tab" or "boot loop." It is a small loop of fabric or leather that is attached to the back of the boot and makes it easier to put on and take off. They stick out a bit much and my work dockers cant fall over them naturally so I ether have to tuck the pants over the loop or walk in to work with highwaters. I have considered cutting it off since I never use it. It makes sense for a boo that you have to pull on but these zipper down.I picked these boots becasue they are subtle. I want something to protect me that doesn't look all Mad-Max, Hard Rocker, or Speed Racer. The Harley logo is subdued and the boot is a simple clean look.
My first actual pair of HD branded motorcycle boots. I've been riding Harley's for 40 years. Always decided against company name branded boots due to price point & compared to other brands. This pair however, has me saying glad I gave them a try - price aside. The style, quality, fit(as expected), construction(very heavy duty, thick leather) and overall design is exceptional. The zippers running down each side make them "slip ons" once you get the laces set to the tightness you like. Great value for the money! Description says "unlined" but they are, not raw leather inside. If you like the style, don't hesitate, very cool looking boots. This will be my last pair of riding boots - I'm 65 and think they will outlast me....ha,ha!
Quality is excellent. I found that the width is quite a bit larger than normal. I purchased arch supporters to take up the space.
They covered all the bases with these Harley boots.I was tired of needing a shoe horn to get my feet inside of my other Harley boots, then take too much time to lace them up, tie a double knot, and get going. These beauties unzip on BOTH sides, never would need a shoe horn (has a finger loop too) to put them on, and after zipping them up you've only got to lace them ONCE. From this point forward, you can leave them laced up permanently if you wish. When it's time to take them off, just unzip the two zippers, easily remove your feet, and that's it! Time to put them back on?.... insert feet, zip 'em up, go!A genius designed these boots and I'd hand him a 12-pack as a gratuitous thank you, if I could.
they fit about a half size bigger than you would wear normally. They were plenty wide. Husband uses for work and riding. Comfortable right off the bat, didn't even have to break in. His only complaint is they are a lot heavier than what he is used to, but that's ok, his thighs are getting a good workout.
I've owned these boots for about 2 months. Fit great out of the box, but already seem to be "breaking in" to a bigger boot. My first impression was that they felt like I was wearing Doc Martin's or the ol waffle boot...not a lot of comfort....I'm not too disappointed, but surprised by a HUGE name company not dialing in a boot as of yet
