The size description could be more accurate. It would be helpful since these run in euro sizes to post that on the description with the corresponding US size. I'm a 39 and ordered the US 8, but returned it for an 8.5 to get the 39. The platforms are soooo cute and have lots of "give" when you walk, making them very comfortable.
I have been wanting a lightweight slip on and love these. The black and white color contrast adds a nice pop of style. The soles are non slip and I have enjoyed the platform height. I wear a size 10 and had no problems with the fit. I have suggested these to friends wanting a good versatile shoe for travel. FYI: I tried on the non platform version and they ran small. This style is true to size.
These shoes are super cute. Very light weight and breathable. They almost feel like water shoes. The one thing I would caution is to order one size smaller because they do stretch and then you are left with a bit of a heel slide. Otherwise, I would order every color of these!
I have 3 pairs if the Ilse Jacobsen Tulip shoes, all in leather that I have worn for several years. They are incredibly comfortable & stylish, fit my feet perfectly.However, when I opened the box and took this pair out, they were not packed & stuffed like all my other pairs when new. The heel of the right shoe was completely stretched out, as you can see in the picture, causing it to slide off of my right foot. The left one fit perfectly.I’m taking a chance & ordering another white pair immediately because I really do love them & I see there is only one pair left in my size. The first pair I will return.
I took an 11US/Euro 41, I normally wear a size Euro 40 in other shoes but the Tulip flats one just has to size up. It doesn’t even look big. Looks small on my foot. The latte is true to colour, they are so comfortable even more so the platform. I will be getting another pair in the Platform as I own the normal Tulip and these are by far so much nicer.
The Ilse Jacobsen tulip shoes are so comfortable so I was ordering my fifth pair here and I ordered the platform for the first time. All my previous are a size 40 so I have the size 40 here but it was so tight after wearing it all day. My feet hurt, and my toenails were sore from being crushed up against the top of the shoe. I also thought I was getting more of the pink shoe and this desert rose is more of a peachy blush. Not saying I don’t like it. I am thinking, maybe the tightness is attributable to it being a platform and not the original. I know they stretch but I don’t remember my others and for being this tight.
Super, super comfortable. I got these for a trade show where I was gonna be on my feet standing for long periods of time on a hard surface for multiple days and these were amazing. Not only did they save my legs and feet, but you can dress them up or down. I’ll be getting more soon.
Cute shoe, but I hate it when shoe makers try to sell EU sizes as larger than they really are. EU size 42 is NOT equivalent to US size 12!!!!!!! I couldn't even get this on my foot, and I usually wear an 11. Returning!
