The Standard of the West Since 1879 The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their fathers death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today. Every pair of Justin Boots is a salute to the spirit of independence, hard work and authenticity of the cowboys who have worn them since 1879. After more than 130 years of Western boot making, Justin Boots is still true to its roots. When you purchase a pair of Justin Boots you will own the most authentic and stylish Western footwear available. And with Justins patented J-Flex Comfort System you will be wearing the most comfortable boots ever made. This is why Justin Boots has been crowned the .Standard Of The West Since 1879..

This is the 3rd set of these work boots that I’ve purchased. I got the 9.5 wide (EE) and I put some work insoles inside them so it makes it a little snug around the top of my feet. I just gotta break them in. The soles hold up for about a year (working 7/12’s) and they’re not waterproof. But I’m from Texas and love the square toe, I have some boots like this without steel toe for personal use. I’d buy again and again and the price is very good! Overall the boot is very nice. And the pics taken are the boots already worn.
These boots were the Wide size and came in the steel toe/waterproof option. My husband wears them everyday and likes the style and comfort. He is very picky about boots as most hurt his feet. He does wear orthotics in them and the boot still fit which is good. Most of the time boots will be too tight and you have to hope they stretch some. He will want another pair in the future and for the price, I will get them. Good boot, wears nice, looks good, and provides comfort and protection.
As soon as you get them put some leather conditioners on them. I used Huberd’s shoe grease. Got a blister on my left ankle the first couple days of wearing. Cleaned them with saddle soap and used Huberd’s shoe oil next. Then the leather softened up and now they’re all day comfortable for work. Re-oil as needed.
I have wide feet with high arches. The new shoe buying process is something i dread due to this. There are pros and cons to these boots. Width wise they are great, and my planter fasciitis hasn't bothered me one bit like it does with other shoes. So from that aspect i would totally recommend them. They are solid good looking boots. The fit out of the box was pretty tight but i was able to get them on. I took a walk down the street just to be really sure i could make these work before committing. I felt that i could based on the research i had done and the break in process i read about on Justins website. Ive had them for about 3 weeks now and can say that it feels like the fit is getting better but the blisters on the top of my feet say otherwise. My issue is the top of my foot near the big toe where my arch is highest is being dug into or rubbed up against something inside the show. I put my hand in there and it feels normal so i think its just a matter of my weird feet and needing to stretch the shoes. I think i've narrowed down the problem area to the spot of double stitching that goes across the top of the foot. I often consider getting the next size up but remembering what i learned from the break in guide and where my toes sit now I don't think that would help me. I'm going to tough it out and see if it gets better. I hope it does because every other aspect of these boots is fantastic and i really want them to work.
I love these Justin boots. Good looking enough for working in or any casual occasion. The bottom traction is basically the same as a workbook and now no need to tie the laces. Square toe makes look more like a cross between a work boot in a cowboy boot. Excellent quality. Only pt. to mention is they may have “snugged up” a little since getting them wet and snow/elements.
I bought these to wear in the workshop and in the garden. After a couple of months they feel sturdy but comfortable. They have a nice wide toe box, and the steel toe which was a requirement. They're not an attractive design, and they're a darker color than I expected, but it's just me and the dog, and the dog has no fashion sense. The boots deliver good function for a good price.
I tell you I was surprised when I put them the comfort of my cowboy boot and the support of a work boot I’ll never want a different type of boot
