My dad has neuropathy in his hands and it was getting very difficult for him to tie shoe laces so I bought him these boots and he loves them! He said they are very comfortable and so easy for him to put on / take off.They look great and feel like a great quality shoe. The Velcro is strong and stays where you put it. Would definitely recommend.
My Dad 87 wears 10x5 and is extremely happy with the size and fit, will certainly purchase again and again! The fabric is lean, fine and sturdy, highly recommended!
The good. I ordered a half size bigger than I usually wear because wide width doesn't always mean wide width. I ordered size 15 and 5e. They fit very comfortably. I am in need of ankle and knee replacements from arthritis and past injuries so I was looking for something with work boot like support on bottom but wanted comfort of sneaker on top. Check. Velcro instead of laces is also much easier. Problem, the top velcro strap. The bottom part is not velcro all across so you can adjust to your comfort. The underside of the velcro is just a small piece all the way on the side of the shoe, I have to pull it so tight to close it it's cutting off circulation in my leg so i don't use the top strap at all, which makes the shoes a little to loose. And the little loop in the back that is supposed to help you pull on your shoes, don't think a pigeon could fit one of his toes in the loop. Why would they make a size 14 5e shoe with a strap that closes like a size 10 regular? They need to have velcro across the whole underside on top strap so it can be adjusted, and the hole in the loop can be a little bigger. Do those two things and the shoe is perfect. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lack of underside velcro on top strap.
The Velcro is too short, it doesn’t close completely, it is weak adhesion that it will get undone.
This is my 6th pair of Propet shoes..They are well made and very comfortable
Size was OK, however the velcro placement on the straps was such, that it didn't line up. Returned for refund.
Good shoe
The boot fits true to size and the "shoe" part is wide enough and comfortable. What is not comfortable is the ankle part of the boot it reaches above the ankle and feels hard against the shin, the velcro strap around the ankle is far too short it cannot be fastened and the tongue is far too thick for it and digs into the leg. It seems no allowance was made for the extra wide needing a proportionally wide ankle size and strap. It has a good tread for winter weather. However, I would not recommend it for extra wide feet. This boot needs to be reconfigured to more sensible proportions.
