Propét Women's June Slide Sandal, tan, 7.5 2E US

I was skeptical when ordering these sandals. I thought for sure they would look like old granny shoes. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a proud (55 yrs young) "Gammy" of four. Honestly, I can't think of anyone who wants to look and dress like an "old granny," can you?Anyhoo, as soon as I opened the box I absolutely loved the color which was a dusty blue-gray that matches a lot of my AEO jeans 👖 (in which I live in) perfectly. All of that skepticism, flew right out the window the moment I put them on. Not only did they fit good but they were also comfy, cute and they looked nothing like old granny shoes. These Propets have become my go to sandals especially when I'm running out the door, hence the title of this review (above 👆).I am not receiving any sort of compensation whatsoever for writing this review. I am just an honest paying customer sharing my honest review which will hopefully be helpful to others. I am someone who depends on reviews prior to making 99% of my many, many, many purchases on Amazon. Leaving reviews for others is my way of giving back, and IMO the right thing to do. I wear these sandals everywhere except work for most of the year, and keep replacing them every year or so, when the color fades and the straps stretch out and start sticking out too far after adjusting them tighter. The tread and sole don't always stay pretty, but they do last and remain supportive. They are true to size and, more importantly, width, and comfortable enough to wear all day right out of the box. They don't take long to break in, and by that I mean the initial stiffness of the sole/tread, not the upper portion which adjusts. And none of the Velcro touches my feet, so no scratching. I hope they keep making this model exactly as it is for a long time to come.

I originally ordered the fully black style. Size 8.5 wide is my usual fit. I found them to be true to size. They look exactly as pictured on the product page. Good, strong quality.I like the simple, no-frills style of this black shoe, and the easy and convenient slide. The slightly raised heel gives it that extra bit of femininity I was looking for. The day I got these, I put them on and the comfort and width were almost perfect. I did not feel I had to break them in at all. The two velcro straps are very strong but easy to adjust, if needed. And they aren't stiff at all. Exactly what I needed for my foot, post surgery... comfort and flexibility.Not only do I get excellent support when I have to be on my feet all day, these are also surprisingly supportive and durable if you do some walking in this shoe. Great for standing and short amounts of walking.What I didn't like... the footbed is removable and you can feel the edges of them around the frame that aren't naturally molded into the shoe. Just a little here and there. It's a slight discomfort and pokey, AND it annoys me. I didn't really notice this until I started walking more in this shoe. I wish they would just put that better footbed into the shoe and not have it be removable. My feet are very sensitive, so maybe this would bother others less. I ended up going with the 8.5 2E (this is extra wide) and the pokey edges disappeared, standing or walking. I was able to tighten them as needed with the velcro strap and they feel fine.Update months later: bought the Tan... fits the same as the solid black (which I've grown to like quite a bit!)... but I agree with another reviewer who says the color doesn't match the product page picture. It's like a soft camel tanish color without any of the beauty that the color camel implies.Update a few years later: Was a great post-surgery shoe, but I rarely wear them now. Orthofeet is now my go-to brand for comfortable slides and looks tons better.

This is the first sandals which I can used with my orthotics. It a break from using closed shoes. It great and comfortable.

I like them, they are super comfortable, look good but are hard to keep on my feet. They just fall off unless I strap my feet in thigth. I do think it's my feet...?

My feet have been hurting for months. I was a big fan of Birkenstocks but my last trip I took them and could not walk for a mile without lots of pain. I am too young to have this problem! So, I searched and landed on Propet. These fit my feet and boy, are they comfortable. I was able to walk for a mile with no trouble at all. There is a little bit of a heal (ever so little) but it was not uncomfortable.

I have purchased three pairs of these so far. I use them as slippers. I need support even in the house and with these I get the support I need and the convenience of slippers. My feet swell which makes these really convenient since I can adjust them to fit.

Shoes are very stiff soled and not flexible at all They really hurt the feet because of that and I’m normally a big Propet shoe fan. They also run extremely large, both in length and in width. I could have ordered at least a whole size smaller than I normally wear and normal width with these when I typically wear a wide width.
