These are well made, non-clunky comfort sandals with nicely padded soles that are infinitely adjustable. My mom found that perhaps they run a little long. Good for wide feet. Had to return because they were a bit too wide at the heel, and we couldn't adjust downward enough. She ended up keeping the 8 1/2's, though.
The sandal "fit as expected" only because I had read previous reviews and knew that the length ran long but the foot-bed was narrow. This shoe (8 4E) was actually a little big in both dimensions for me, but it was the color I wanted and a very good sale price. Because the velcro straps can all be adjusted, I figured I could make it work. It is just fine, but I liked the sandal so much, I ordered another pair in a different color (just a few days later) in my correct size for this particular shoe, 7.5 2E. My usual size is 8 Wide, so I'd recommend a half size smaller and one size wider. The sandal is extremely comfortable and I was able to wear it right away and only hours later realized that I hadn't even paid any attention to my feet! I'm very pleased with both pairs that I've purchased, and also very pleased with how quickly the shoes arrived.
The Sandals themselves are well made and comfortable. I bought them for my Wife, because she needed a Sandal that would hold up for general household use, and still look nice enough to wear if she had to go out somewhere. My wife was Born with feet too small for her height, and very high arches. So she had to have special shoes made for her ever since she could walk.While she can wear them comfortably enough, and they have enough Support for her arches. They are almost too small at the heel, and the cross strap closest to her ankle.I would recommend buying 1/2-1 size larger than normal. Other than that, they are very good in Support, Comfort, fairly well made, and attractive.I would recommend them, and would buy them again.
I have worn Propet exclusively for years. I know they will always fit my wide foot with a high arch, and feel good right out of the box. I know I can trust the fit. That said, these are the first sandals I have purchased in several years, and I forgot that I usually buy a half size smaller in a sandal. They adjust so are comfortable, but they would look a bit better if I had gotten the smaller size, so less shoe would show in front of toes.
The wide widths are not wide!!! The sandal was supposed to be a 4E width, and it was stamped as such, but was not cut any wider than a regular! I compared it with another pair of sandals from the same brand, and same size and it was visually much more narrow. I figured I would just try it on, which turned out to be very silly, having my foot spilling out over the sides. I have always been able to count on Propet size 8 4E width, and these were ridiculous! The straps were long enough to go around my foot, there just wasn’t enough width to the footbed. There is something very wrong with these shoes, and the other 2 pairs I tried to get in the same shoe from the same company. Someone is being dishonest here. This shoe is so NOT what it’s labelled to be. You do not get what you ask for, or what you should with this shoe.
Very comfortable with lots of adjustments. Each strap can be adjusted. The denim looks great with jeans.
Pros -- Soft leather, cushiony insole, cuteCons -- I ordered the wide width, but the sole of the shoe was narrow compared to my other shoes. The straps were long, however, so I think the wide was a regular width sole with longer straps. I thought about keeping them because they were cute, but I found some Skechers sandals in store which fit me better so I returned the Propet. I hope this helps anyone considering purchasing this sandal in wide.
I really got excited when I saw these sandals and the sizes available. It is very difficult to find cute shoes that are made in wide widths. I ordered two pair, one in X-wide, and a second in XX-wide. When the shoes arrived, I was SO disappointed. I could tell immediately that this was just another case of a company that thinks wide width means an overweight person with normal width feet. You can see in the picture how narrow the sole is compared to a shoe that is actually a wide width. If you have a B-width foot, you'll probably love these sandals. They are very adjustable and have decent support with nice, soft soles. Too bad for those of us that actually have wide feet.
