Comfy, not bulky, 2nd time purchasing.I bought a second pair because I lost the first pair but they last a very long time.
As always there is no half size so I went up a size. I love that there is some arch support. After a couple of wears the straps have broken in and are comfortable.
I have four pairs of these specific flip-flops because I love them so much. I love the comfortable dainty strap, they are cushy on the bottom and I wear them all the time. I won't say they are supportive because they are flip-flops, but they are comfortable, cute and go with most things as an easy shoe to throw on and get the day started. Definitely recommend!
I love the color scheme so much that these almost won out even though they were less comfortable than the other flip flops I tried. But, alas.. for my small foot, it seemed like it fit overall, but the arch support was in just barely the wrong place. It made it uncomfortable to wear. It's probably just my feet, but, well, there it is! They seemed decently durable, but also kind of like the bottoms were just some sort of foam. The soles were a very comfortable, soft, slightly squishy material. They aren't very versatile- they are extremely casual. I can't comment on their performance as I returned them.
I have been buying Reef Ginger sandals for decades. They are the best little flip flops. I did read reviews and bought a size up and they fit perfect. Wear an 8 and bought a 9. Not sure what the sizing thing is about, but just buy up a size. Navy blue color is great with jeans. Strap and sole is blue.
Update 29 April 2016:I purchased these again in April of 2016 to replace a pair I had destroyed in the garden and I must admit I was surprised when I read the recently disappointing review of this shoe. I have been wearing these for almost 10 years now and was secretly inside praying that they were not as bad as the reviews said. Unfortunatly I was wrong; the quality is not the same and size is completely different from when I purchased in 2014. First off the shoe is no longer made in the USA - it is now made in Mexico and the sticker on the sole clearly states that. The sole is also made of a cheaper plastic than the original shoe I bought 2 yrs ago. Secondly, as so many other people stated the sizes are much smaller now. When I purchased this in 2014 I ordered a size 6 and it fit my foot like a glove. I again ordered the 6 and I could barely get my foot in the strap - my foot has not grown in 2 years, I am 30 yrs old and past puberty. I must change my review from a 5 star to a 3 star because of these two things. It is a shame that the quality had to change in order to keep the cost the same - I would have gladly paid $2-3 more for the same shoe at the quality I received in 2014. I am not even sure if I will continue to purchase this product anymore either. The experience has been very upsetting and disappointing.June 2014 Review:I had been wearing a pair of these flip flops for 7 years and was devastated when they finally broke down to the point where I could not wear them anymore. Being the Amazon search guru I am, I took to the marketplace and was again not disappointed when I discovered Amazon carried this product and at almost the same price I had paid for them 7 years before. I purchased this pair approximately 6 months ago and again they continue to delight me. The arch in the middle is wonderful in preventing flat foot. The flip flop is clearly made with decent quality as the fabric is inside the rubber part. The fit is comfortable and does not make blisters on my foot like certain rubber flip flop styles do. Highly recommend this style, I have been wearing it for years and will continue to do so as long as Reef continues to make it!
10/10 stars! Tried a pair of these my friend had and rushed to trusty Amazon to get myself a pair. She’s had hers for years and they’re still in great condition with the straps intact. Great arch support and easily the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever worn. I bought 2!… of note, they run on the smaller size of ‘true to size’ so if you are borderline, I would recommend sizing up for maximum comfort
I ordered the brown ones and it runs small. I'm a true 8 and 8 1/2 with some heels. I have wider feet too, which definitely makes me look like big foot for this size. So I'm ordering a 9 because I still really like the style and support compared to other flip flops. So if you have wider feet, then I would definitely recommend just ordering a size bigger than you are.
