ROPER Womens Slip On Flats Casual - Brown - Size 9.5 B

Years ago, I had a pair of these shoes and I LOVED them. I wore them for ages until they finally fell apart. It was a sad day when I finally tossed them. I got over it, though, and moved on to a different pair of shoes and my Ropers eventually became a distant memory. Until I went to the National Finals Rodeo in December and saw THE SHOES in the Roper booth at Cowboy Christmas. Sadly, they didn't have my size. As soon as I got home, I fired up Amazon and ordered a pair. I had to wait a bit for them, but it was soooo worth it! My new shoes make me just as happy as their historic cousins did, so many years ago. Thank you, Roper, for continuing to produce this marvelous footwear. Buy these shoes and you won't be sorry.

This is my 4th or 5th pair, or, maybe, I have lost count. I wear these Roper shoes with slacks and business attire every winter when there is snow and ice. They are stable, yet passably attractive enough to not be as distracting as my lace up snow boots. They are also reasonably water resistant, warm and comfortable.

I love these shoes! They run a little large and I would recommend ordering down 1/2 size. I normally wear a women's 11, but ordered 10 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I have found most Ropers run big. They are so comfortable and offer good support. The only negative is the color is so dark brown it is almost black, not like the picture. I will order again when these wear out, but it doesn't look like that will be for a long, long time! So glad to have them!

I have worn this brand of shoes for years. This pair has a great amount of tread on it. If you are between sizes at all, I recommend going with the smaller size. These are almost large enough that I am tempted to return them. However, I feel that they will work out better when I switch to wool socks for the winter. Great shoes!

All the reviews here were positive. Was worried about sizing but was true to size for me. Was more disappointed with how very uncomfortable it was around the inside of my foot just below my ankle. I don't consider myself really bony but unless I wore really thick socks I almost got a blister on each foot the first day I wore them. The inner sole of the shoe is very hard and I'd have to get an insert for comfort. The external sole seemed very durable though. Returning because there's no way I could wear these without a lot of modifications. Style was very bland too... Almost looks like a man's shoe.

Easy on and off, great casual style and very comfortable

Received this item much sooner than expected and was pleased with color and overall size of shoe. However, after wearing for only minutes, the shoe became extremely uncomfortable on the edges of my feet. The shoe bed was lower that the sides of the shoe soles and placed all the weight on the outsides of my feet instead of evenly distributed on the entire foot, which lead to discomfort and my decision to return this item. If the insole was better and provided more arch support or was atleast to the height to where the outer sole of the shoe came to, perhpas I would have reconsidered the return. Also, when looking at the shoe with the sole facing upward, you could see the concave of the sole. As the pic of the shoe shows, the sole of the shoe somes up further on the sides than normal and I feel that this may have led to the problems with how the foot fit inside the shoe. Otherwise, the product seemed to be of quality materials, however the leather did appear to be of the kind to easily scuff.

I was looking for an affordable winter show with winter tread. This Roper is perfect.
