I should have returned them when I had the chance. They are already cracked after only a couple of months.
These shoes are somewhat tighter than I would want in the toe box. The main problem with them is that the buckle came completely bent and it's almost impossible to fit the metal piece through the hole. They are a very cheaply made shoe and I would not recommend them. I guess you get what you pay for.
I'd give rate it 5 five if it weren't for the outdate (i.e. so not my style) design. This model looked too "granmaysh" online and I'd classify them as an ugly pair of shoes... anyway, I got this model because I wanted a chunkier, short heel and only these qualified. Ugly? definitely... but, are they comfortable or what!!! And they glide on the dance floor. Wearing them has allowed me to improve my ability to spin and do multiple turns much faster. Another plus, the short and sturdy heel is a leg saver in a 2 hours class. Really pleased with this purchase :-)
Ordered both my normal street size and a half size up because they state to order up half a size. Am sending both of them back because I don't feel like I have enough room in the toe box -- the top of the shoe rubs against the top of my big toe. Can't imagine that being comfortable in dance class. Other than that the shoes seem well built enough.
I needed a new pair of shoes as I had worn out my last So Danca shoes over 2 years. I wanted to get the same brand so I was very happy to see the same style sold on Amazon and for half the price I paid for my first pair. I find that the construction of the shoe is less sturdy than my first pair. The most important part for me is the bottom of the shoe since I wore out the felt material from the first pair of shoes. This new pair's bottom was decent. I can dance with it but I don't feel it will last very long. Also the heel of the shoe is covered a thin material which they gave extra pieces of which is good but also states that it might not last long. Overall, these shoes are good for the price.
relatively comfortable shoes (not leather upper) but definitely get 1/2 size larger than street shoe. strap and buckle could be more sturdy.
