This Stacy Adam's slip-on was great in color, size, and appearance. I like it very much.
Received delivery on time. In good condition. These are some fine looking shoes. I've always had a pair of nob toe Stacys since I was a young man. I out grew my last pair so I got these. This pair is different, being that they are not lace-ups. And has a Lizard print upper behind the smooth nob toe. I have a high instep, and they were a little tight when first putting them on. But was just fine after using a shoe tree for a day. The blue gave me another color, and was a factor in them being such nice looking shoes. They are comfortable for a dress shoe. My last pair of Stacy Adams lasted me about thirty-five years. Here's to these lasting that long!
These are well made for a modern day shoe.Unfortunately, as with everything else that was once absolutely GREAT, these are lacking in certain aspects, where their "identical" predecessors of 30, 40, 50, 60 years ago excelled.The soles are full grain leather and look like they'll be serviceable for a long time. The same goes for the heels.The leather used on the body of the shoe is of decent quality, but not as thick or supple as that of a vintage pair that I own.The lining is where "time will tell", as far as the longevity and wearability of these shoes is concerned. None of the linings in this new pair seem to be made of genuine leather, as those in my vintage pairs are. The heel lining is my greatest concern... I think it's made of some kind of microfiber that mimics actual Nubuck and I'm hoping it wears for at least a year.The brown color of the shoes is outstanding... The edges of the soles are nicely dressed, and the shoes came to me very well packaged.
THESE ARE EXCELLENT SHOES! I HAVE THE BROWN AND THE BLUE ALSO, THEY ALL FIT WELL AND ARE CLASSY LOOKING! I'M WAITING TO GET THE MUSTARD AND IVORY COMBINATION WE THEY GET THEM IN MY SIZE!
