This is a really nice, well built, good-looking boot that fits GREAT. About myself. I'm 6'3" and weigh 350 lbs. I have wide feet. Won't even consider a boot or sneaker that's not a wide size and even then, they don't always fit. I wore these in my house for 4-5 hours. Heels stay in place with no rubbing and the anti-fatigue insoles make walking very comfortable. This boot is wide and provides a lot of support yet stays in place on your foot. In other words, it doesn't feel like your feet are swimming in them. Toe box is great. I was surprised how easy it was for me to move my toes around especially being a composite toe. Not being able to move my toes around is almost always an issue for me and that's with boots that are soft toe, these are a composite toe. Also, this boot is very easy to get on and off. You don't have to wrestle with them for ten minutes just getting them on and laced up or getting them off.The only issue with this boot is the eyelet/speed hook combination at the top of the boot. They stick out pretty far on the inside of the boot and dig into my skin. Bad....bad design! I wish Timberland either went with an eyelet or a speed hook not this AIO nonsense. Awful design! Truly heinous! Feels like there's a Pitbull biting on the side of my leg. Terrible!Even though I had to return, the fit/feel, support and look of this boot is so great, I still give it 5 stars. I'll return for the 8" boot. The eyelets/speed hooks are higher up on the 8" boot and you don't have to lace them all the way up just to keep them on your feet.FYI people. This is a work boot. It's big, bulky and heavy. They're supposed to be that way. If you don't want that then don't buy this boot. I've read a lot of reviews here where people complained about that. If you don't want big and bulky than try a cheap hiking style boot like something from Merrell. Will let you know how the 8" boot feels.
As a technician in a dealership , these are great for the fluid covered floors , water covered floors , they’re warm , easy to wipe clean , comfy for standing 8 hours a day ,get a pair of good thick socks, run true to size just lace em up nice and sturdy , the only thing I know people are lazy and like to drag there feet which will lead to premature Heel drag these boots do have some weight to them and are on the clunky side and take a lil getting used to the size . using your foot to do thing like kicking lift post , standing on objects , climbing
So I have gotten 3 years out of these boots and could honestly keep wearing them longer but they have stretched some and have gotten loose to where my foot slides around a bit and my socks bunch up now. I mainly work on hard surfaces and the tread seems to hold up great, I also don't drag my feet everywhere. I put them on a boot dryer everyday and they never smell. These boots are very comfortable to wear for long work days, warm or cold. I had replaced the insole about 1 and half years in because my heel is narrow and tends to wear anything out I wear. I also use saddle soap and a conditioner to keep the leather in good shape. I see many picture reviews on these boots (and other brands) where you can tell the person never took care of the leather and then wonders why they are splitting and falling apart. Take care of your boots and they will do there job. I'm about to purchase my 3rd pair of these, this time getting them a half a size smaller. I normally wear 10.5 to 11 on other brands. my currents are 10.5 and I realized that after they have broken in I should have really gotten a size 10. I hope they continue this line for many more years to come.
Switched to these when the Timberland Pro spiked in price $50 ! I figured what's an extra $25 at this point to give them a shot. Right out of the box, excellent craftsmanship. Feel very sturdy and don't feel like they'll fall apart in a few month's. For me I wear a 13 wide and they are just a little bit wider than the Pro model. My only concern is they feel a little thinner overall in the sole and heel. I can feel the ballast I walk on daily through them a little bit more, flexible not stiff/sturdy feeling. Other than that. Let's see how long they'll last !
I work in construction, great ankle support. Nice fitting, and very comfortable to wear all day long. Very weather proof. Easy to clean with a water hose, while keeping your feet dry. Boot let's your feet breath easily without getting wet by sweat. Definitely highly recommend. Probably my best work boots every. I am a 58 yrs old man. Who has worked in construction for many years. Nice to have work clothing that is built for a working man.
I use these at an auto shop and they are super comfortable and protect my feet from all the hazards. I would recommend these to any auto technician
The quality of the leather is really nice. You can remove the inside sole of the boot to replace with a new one if needed which I found to be a really nice idea but they are really comfortable for working over 8 hour days. I would recommend choosing a half size down. I usually wear 10.5 in shoes. I chose 10.5 in these boots and they're just a little bit too big. Should of went with a size 10 but I'm OK with a half size bigger. Great choice on these boots and I believe it's worth the price.
These work boots come home with me everyday, very comfortable while supporting my ankle. I have used these to hike, go to amusement parks, walk in 4th of July parade. They are genuinely comfortable and durable. This is the only Brand/Model work boot I have worn for the last 12 years.
