Very comfortable - just a little tight in the toes. Very classy shoe. Great height and goes with everything. These shoes are the perfect dark blue.
I ordered these shoes in a 7.5 narrow but should have gone one size up. Width is fine but they are too short, even with the slightly rounded toe. I have them on a shoe tree hoping that will help. If not, I'll wear them only when planning to sit!
These are really classy and comfortable shoes. The navy is dark, and goes with everything. Initially they feel a little bit tight in front (I have narrow feet, and ordered narrow as usual), however, after wearing them around the house for a day or two, they become more and more accommodating. I am pretty sure eventually they will become just the right fit after a couple of more days of wearing around. I had them on whole day yesterday without feeling compelled to take them off. Really, really appreciate the great design, solid material, AND the comfort level of this versatile pair.
They look great, and the heel is just the right height. The problem is they are a 1/2 size too big. I bought some inserts to help but they still slide off my feet. It is too late to send them back so I am going to see if I can find some larger inserts. I guess I took a chance by buying shoes online...
I loved this wide (C) shoe. It was made beautifully and very comfortable. It was just wide enough to fit my foot. But it was too long! It seemed to be more like a 6 1/2. Even when I tried them on with insoles my foot slipped up out of the back. I really was very disappointed because it does not look like it is made in a 5 1/2 W. I checked many Trotters styles searching for a 5 1/2 W but found none. Had to return them.
The 6 1/2 w had an accurate width but it was too long. It was at least as long as a 7.I think they just relabeled a 7 regular. Thishas happened to me before.Both trottersand hush puppies have seem to havedone this.
Really a beautiful pump - just what I was looking for. Well made, beautiful leather, perfect heel height & very stable. I did order up a half size but the fit is still a bit tight. On the positive side, they don't slide around on my heel. I would suggest ordering up at least a half size & getting as many colors as you can as it's really hard to find a classic leather pump with a perfect heel height that isn't so narrow that you're falling off of it. And, that isn't so thick so that it looks clunky. I don't think you'll be disappointed with these.
I bought these Navy pumps and they fit well. They had good cushion, the soles of these shoes were great. I walk on slippery all the time and I always worry when I buy shoes if I will fall when wearing them in some places. That would not be an issue for these shoes. I bought these shoes to go with a dress I bought for a gala next week end and I couldn't believe how hard it is to find decent looking, priced navy color shoes, where the heels aren't so high! I was so happy when I found these shoes. The issue I had was when I was trying on the shoes and checking out walking around my room checking out the fit, the shoes would make a squeaking noise, with ever step I took. I never had shoes that make noise like this so not sure if these are just the type of shoes that needed to be broken in some and with wear the noise would stop? Since, I bought these for a specific event, I had no choice but to return them rather then just requesting an exchange if it was just a defect in these particular pair of shoes. Thankfully the return process was easy and no issues.
