I don't know why I read the reviews and then don't follow through....I ordered 7.5 M - they are very comfortable, well made, I really like them with tunic tops and leggings and/or jeans, but they do indeed run a little large.Both feet slip out a little when I walk, but who could know? I will just put a little heel pad in and I think that will solve the issue.Better that than too small! Too much of a hassle to return and then find the 7 is too small.Next time I just might order both sizes and return one.
I have a small foot with a very high arch. In general, Trotters for me are perfect. In particular, I love this shoe -- bought two pair (navy and tan). They look smart with slacks and are comfortable all day long. Since i can no longer wear heals, these are perfect for everyday with slacks and a blazer. Love them.
I bought this shoe first in navy with white piping and it fit so well and was a great walking shoe. So when I saw this one in grey with the black piping I also bought it. However, the right shoe is starting to gap and both shoes although fitting my 11.5N well at first are not holding their shape as well as the older blue pair. My thinking is that the 2 pairs of shoes were manufactured in different countries but the buyer can not tell that when purchasing. Just wanted to let the customers know that there may be some variances between the colors.
5/16/2016 Update:I order 2 pair of these shoes, I loved the style and they were comfortable. The problem is the right away they started to stretch. I've added sole pads and heal pads and they are still too large. They are at least 1 size larger if not 1 1/2 sizes larger than when I purchased, so they are now unwearable. Based on my experience, I can not recommend this brand of shoes and will never purchase again.Original Feedback: Ordered my normal size (wide width) and they are a true wide, so no problems with fit or comfort right out of the box. My only concern is the leather has stretched with wear and if I were to reorder, I would order a 1/2 size smaller. I really like the taupe color, it's a great neutral.
I love these shoes so much that I purchased two pairs. They are very comfortable and stylish and everyone that sees these shoes say they are very beautiful. Although I love these shoes. The only concern I have, is that when I walk, they gap open on the side. Now, if this problem can be fixed, I will purchase two more pairs.
Really nice shoe. I have only worn them once so far but based on that will order at least one more pair. Very comfortable. I ordered a 8.5(m). I have narrow feet but find when I order narrow shoes they are very uncomfortable. These fitted great and have a lovely inner sole that is raised inside on each side of each shoe to make them fit even more comfortably. The colour was spot on and the leather looks great.
I ordered these shoes in loden green, 7.5 B & that's what I got.True color, true, size, real leather, beautiful shoe. They look very classy. They work well as a neutral with most clothing items. I have 3 different style sweaters in this color. Everything I had hoped for is in this shoe. Wow! I couldn't be happier.
I bought these shoes to wear to my teaching job; I am on my feet in the classroom and also cross campus several times day so I do a lot of walking and need a comfortable shoe. I wore them for the first time today and was hesitant because I've had some bad luck with new shoes, but these were perfect, in fact, I still have them on 8 hours after I put them on this morning.These shoes really are as comfortable as slippers. The bonus is that they are also very attractive! I'll be buying more colors - these are my new go-to shoes for work.
