Beautiful, comfortable and good quality
I’m normally a size 6.5 so I bought that size, but I think a 6 would fine too. My ankles are small so I have to use the first notch on the straps and the metal clasps dig into my skin (at that notch). I suspect I’ll have to rely on bandaids to break into the shoes. Nevertheless, the shoes look great and are well made.UPDATE: I wore them outside for the first time yesterday. While I got many compliments, I was in so much pain. I came home to blisters across all of my ten toes. Interestingly enough, the ankle straps didn’t bother me at all. I suggest breaking into the shoes at home with socks on!
The shoe was cute and fabric was soft, but the this shoe is running 1/2 size small. I wear 7 normally and it did not fit as expected. I bought them to wear to work standing all day and I don't think these will work out for me. Makes your foot look small though.
They’re not joking when they say the strap across the toes/top of the foot is tight. These shoes are not made for comfort but they are pretty darn cute.I’m 4’11 and usually look rediculous in wedges nowadays because most are too tall/bulky. This wedge still looks trendy without overwhelming my frame.***Update***After wearing them for a little while the strap loosed up and are much more comfortable. I also tried these on with different outfits and WOW these things are versatile and work well with almost all of my dresses, shorts and jeans! I’m so excited because I won’t have to pack as many shoes when I go on vacation!
I tracked these down because I had them in 3 colors 3-4 years ago and, until they started to wear out, they were easily one of the most flattering, versatile and comfortable sandal styles I'd ever worn. The scale of the straps is simple/comfortable, yet somehow sexy -- I've had strangers compliment them. The heel height is perfect to flatter the leg line but be comfortable -- in the past, I'd gone all day on my feet (teaching, at conferences, on vacation...) and even run in them and been comfortable.However... when I ordered them this year (in black and in the pale grey that is actually slightly seafoam), having worn each of them one day, I haven't been able to get through a day in them.1) Vince Camutos usually run a half-size small. I ordered my usual VC size 7, which fits, but the arch span feels slightly longer (so my foot falls more) than on other VCs2) the strap across the toes on earlier versions was a flat piece of (I believe synthetic) leather, but this year it is a folded/seamed piece of leather. While every pair of Vince Camutos I've ever worn has broken in to be extremely comfortable, SO FAR, I'm wearing Mickey Mouse bandaids to pad the top of my big toe wear the hardness of the strap wears, and even so had to take them off to get through the last hour of the day.If they break in better so that they are not uncomfortable, I'll come back and update the review. One last complaint: these are way overpriced. When I bought them in the past, I paid $35, $50 and $65 for them. The $95 that vendors are currently charging is way overpriced, especially considering the fit is worse than in the past and the fact that espadrille shoes tend to wear out faster. If I were not so desperate to replace shoes this month, I never would have paid it. The price needs to be lower.
I trust the quality of the products byVince Camuto. They look much nicer in person. They arrived much earlier than I expected.I normally Size 6 or Size 6.5. I have wide feet. I knew Vince Camuto shoes tend to narrow so I ordered Size 6.5 and they are not too narrow and comfortable for me. Their heels are not too high but just right. Tan color is not too light or too dark, goes to everything. You can dress up or down with them.
I have to return it. Bought it to wear with my maxi dress to attend a graduation ceremony and it was fine at first but after 15 minutes my feet started like crazy. It was sooooo painful and left blisters on my big toes and a cut on my ankle. Worst pair of sandals I’ve ever own.
Fits nice. The leather in the sole does not extend to the toe bed. It stops just under the arch. It took a little to get use to but otherwise they are comfortable.
