Soft leather nice heel looks good with everything g dressy to casual
They are not for narrow calves. They feel stiff like cardboard and don’t move with walking. I got the black pair. Size nine. Fit in feet was fine but huge around skinny legs. They felt and looked like fly fishing waders. The chunky heel was cute but I felt like the tin man trying to walk in oversized boots about three inches too big at top of boot.
WOW: These boots are absolutely incredible. GORGEOUS patent leather knee-high fabulousness. And REAL leather- not fake PU leather. The high shaft, square toe, and slim fit call to mind Bond vixen vibes. They were EXACTLY what I wanted. But alas, they are too tight for my high arches, even with wearing tights instead of a sock. This makes me so sad, but they will be going back :(((
which might be a good thing, depending on what you're after. The heel is large and gives a very chunky look to the whole boot. I sized up for some reason - big mistake. Now, because Amazon isn't allowing an exchange, and because the purchase price is over $150 which means it'll take FOREVER to get the refund, I'm out the price without being able to simply exchange. Bummer.
So, they’re cute boots and they seem to be pretty good quality; color and materialare nice. People are divided on the sizing in these reviews; I will say that I’m a size ten and the ten fit me fine…but unfortunately there was only one of those. The other boot was a nine, as pictured. I’m going to return and reorder them, since I like them pretty well, but I can’t pretend it didn’t throw me off a little re: where these boots are coming from and if they’re actually new (nothing against used clothes, but like…I pay used prices for those). It’s just not a problem I have ever encountered.
Could be a half size smaller but still feel and look great! So comfortable!
