It would be hard to find anyone who does not think Vionics have great arch support. But if your feet are sensitive, the hardness of their insole underfoot can give you pressure points. I once took a hammer to a pair of Vionic platform sandals to flatten out those little circles that I could count while wearing them. These maintain all the support, especially metatarsal but they are a tiny bit softer. My only criticism is that the center strap is not adjustable and a tiny bit big on my foot. This allows them to move from side to side a bit so I am looking to exchange them for the same type but I do want a pair. These are from the Rest series and perhaps they are named for being a bit softer. I am looking forward to finding a similar pair on Amazon today. Oh, the colors of this style are really pretty. Great for an afternoon nice get together.

I had been dealing with plantar fasciitis and struggling to find a sandal that didn’t hurt my foot after 30 minutes of wearing. Tried many different orthotic sandals and some of my favorite brands, with mixed results, but nothing worked for long. This particular style by Vionic was Cinderella’s glass slipper for me & I could wear them for several hours without pain. Shoes are very subjective of course, but I found these sandals comfortable & supportive. They fit true to size, are stylish & had a nice Velcro closure that made it easy to get a secure fit. The foot bead is soft with arch support. Liked them enough to buy them in four colors…just wish they came in more!

As it had been several years since being in Europe, at the last minute, I remembered just how challenging the cobblestone streets can be, especially on hilly areas, and feared my no-back-strap, albeit comfy, Birki-like sandals might not do and ordered these last minute. They were fantastic! The arch support was so appreciated, especially after walking for many many hours each day, just to come back to our hotel to freshen up, have an Aperol Spritz, and head back out for the evening. The t-strap never annoyed my toes, and there was nothing touching my bunions, so my feet were happy all day every day! In fact, I don’t think I ever had to adjust or tweak my shoes or even think about my feet all day when I was wearing these! I’m ordering more in other colors as these will be my go-to on walking days in warmer weather!!!!

I was looking for a pair of sandals that gave my feet support and that I could do a lot of walking in. These sandals do not disappoint! Out of the box I was able wear them all day without having to break them in as suggested. The only negative I have is about the Velcro (as many have already mentioned). Getting them adjusted so they won’t be too tight or too lose is a challenge. With a buckle, you know what hole to use. With Velcro, you have to guess where to place the strap each time. It’s also hard to fine-tune-adjust the strap with Velcro. Also, the buckle hits right at base of the bone on the side of my ankle but luckily it wasn’t a problem, no blister. Over all, I’m very happy I found these and even happier that I got them at such a good price ($35-$40 off!).

I'm done with flip flops! No more flat soled, sandals without good foot bed support. These sandals look sleek, have an easy-to-close strap with velcro, and a great Vionic footbed. Cool in hot weather, easy to get on, and good foot support. I need these sandals. If you want to protect your feet, YOU need these sandals.

I LOVED the buckle on this shoe. It is just decorative to cover the velcro but looks great and makes the shoe look a little less "old lady". However, it was super casual looking and the straps didn't give my foot the support I need. It seems like it would be pretty comfortable if it fits your foot right.

Leather is super soft , shoe and leather super comfortable, I would buy again

Great for travel with the velcro heel strap, so it's safer than my usual flip flop sandals. Frankly wearing at home as it looks dressier than flip flops.
