I don’t think they are completely waterproof so I wouldn’t suggest standing in a lake or anything but they keep your feet dry when walking in rain, mud and puddles . This is actually my second pair. The first ones lasted about a year and a half and I wore them a lot! The right boot ended up splitting in the back up the middle (possibly from wearing them while driving). They run a tiny bit big but not enough to size down, plenty of room for fluffy socks but not too big with regular socks . Mine also arrived with scuffs on them like some of the other reviewers said but it doesn’t bother me because I intend on using them for the backyard or for going to the farm where my horse lives. They do look cute though and don’t make my legs look deformed like some other rain boots. All in all very pleased with my purchase and they went from $40 with my original purchase to $18.99 a year and a half later.
These rain boots are really sturdy & well made but run large. I ordered a 7 & wear a 7.5. They are still too big. Could have used a 6 so order at least a size and or a size and a half down. My calves are muscular too & they are too tight in that area. I can barely fit skinny jeans inside, & my calves measure 14 inches. love the green
SO disappointed! I love the fit and comfort of these boots, but after just a year of wearing them sporadically to walk my dog, they have big tears in the calves and toes. I'm really bummed... they're definitely not waterproof at this point! Don't buy these if you actually want to wear them in the rain.
I love these boots. They're stylish and comfortable and feel well made. I wear a 6.5 and after reading reviews I ordered a 6 instead of 7, and I'm really glad I did. They fit perfectly. I love the color, somewhere between true navy and dark teal, and at 5'4" they hit just below my knee.
These are incredibly awkward. I don't think they are traditional galoshes, maybe I read the description wrong, but they are so tight at the very top I cannot get them up over a pair of jeans (not loose jeans, snug fitting). Under pants they fit great but that kind of defeats the purpose. It seems very odd as there is plenty of room in the legs but the tops are too tight. If I went up a size I'd be swimming in the feet. I haven't tried them with other pants yet. Otherwise seem to be very good quality and I love the same brand in my kids' rain boots.
Ordered these for my daughter who wears a size 11 women shoe. I read the other reviews and they seemed to be all over the board with how happy people were with the purchase. My daughter has trouble finding boots in a size 11 so I took the chance. They arrived and when we first opened the box I was impressed with how darn cute they were. Very nice quality and loved the buckle detail on the sides. She tried them on and they were way too big on her feet in the front part where her toes sit. We thought maybe heavy socks might do the trick since they are winter boots but they were even too large for that. Felt clunky on the foot when she walked. We decided to return them. The return was super easy and Amazon provided a return slip.
I love these boots. I bought a pair last year to wear around the ranch. They actually look good enough to wear out and about. The do run a little big. I wear anywhere from a 7 to a 7.5 . Bought a size 7 and they’re a little big.
I'm giving them 4 stars even though I had to return them for a smaller size. Usually I wear a 7 in most shoes/boots. I ordered a 6.5 and they were still HUGE! I have really skinny feet and calves, but even with 3 pairs of socks, there was no way to make these boots work. Thankfully, I didn't even have to drive to the post office to return them, Amazon allowed me to schedule the pick-up through their site and it was free! I have super skinny/narrow feet, so I'm really hoping that the 6's work (I believe I'm getting them for Christmas!). :)
