I purchased these 5 months ago. I bought them to give me support while running around in a youth group setting, but stylish enough for Sunday service. They do an amazing job at all of the above! I wear them at least 4 days a week and for both casual and simi-active wear and they hold up. Tread on the bottom is still holding strong, haven't twisted my ankle or other such nonsense. I remember they were a bit stiff when I started (couldn't point the toe box up or down easily) but they soon started to stretch and allow for the movement I needed. The top cuff that holds the faux strap along the top of the calf did fall off easily (within the first month) but everything else has been great. Also note, you have zippers on both sides of the boot, and the ones on the outside are just décor.
I have these in 3 colors the brown is a dark brown wish they came in medium brown but love love love these boots great look and very comfortable. The buckle at top is great for smaller calf too!
these boots are to heavy for me. I should have sent them back but kept thinking I would wear them, they are true to size
These boots are wonderful; the fit is perfect and they are extremely comfortable. Although they are not leather, they look like leather or suede depending on the color purchased. The wearer gets height without stress on the knees, due to the platform sole. White Mountain has always been a favorite for boots because of the fit, comfort, style, and price, and the "Blackbird" design is no exception.
I LOVE White Mnt Boots, I have a pair of Black Block ones that are the most comfortable and cutest boots I have ever had so I wanted to order them in brown but can't seem to get in my size any more. The Blackbird was the closest thing I could find they are not quite as comfortable and not as cute as the Block boot but still a very nice boot! I am very satisfied with these but would have been much happier with the Brown Block ones.
I have really tried to softene the boots, bought all kinds of conditioners, etc. here on Amazon. Still stiff.
I bought the black boots last year and the sales rubber and excellent in winter weather.
I love the boots, just as I knew I would. I have a black pair already and when I saw the brown, I just had to get them in this color.
