Great for outdoor work and very comfortable to wear all day
Overall everything was very good about to shoot I do not have no dislikes
Boots are nice and comfortable just a little heavy I think. However this may be due to the fact I'm use to wearing steel toe tennis not boots.
These boots have been holding up after a year and half have a lot of hours on them I’m glad I came across this boot. The sole has been starting to crack at the bottom but has done an amazing job holding up for the 12 hour days I work.
I bought these for My Sweetheart for Christmas. He is not easy to please. He is a farmer and he demands a lot from his work shoes/boots. He absolutely loves them. He said they fit him beautifully and they keep his foot warm enough in the winter without making them sweat. Very pleased.
I got them for work in the steel mill and I needed a metguard model, they’ve treated me great for the last 3 months! So far only complaint is the inner sole is peeling up but my shoes tend to do that with how I walk and the amount of wear I put on them. Boots have been very hardy and liquid-proof so far!
Best pair of boots I’ve ever worn right out of the box.
I was trying to find a pair of boots that would hold up to 12hrs of standing on metal grates and plasma cutting tables 4 out of the 7dys a week I work- these unfortunately were not up to the challenge(if anyone knows boots that will pls let me know!). That being said; they are one of the better pairs of boots I have come across. They are constructed in a way that actually helps you walk. You can feel it lift up as you lift your heel off the ground. Plus they're light so that makes it even better not to lug barbells around all day(walking around 7dys a week will make you notice the difference between heavy boots and lighter boots). The insole is easily comparable to the Dr. Scholl's that you would put in yourself, they're really quite comfortable(like I said that's 7dys a week). They are fairly breathable. Now that the pros are out of the way let's talk about the cons. I saw multiple reviews that the metguard is unbearable. This is true during the initial break-in period(which was also criticized but that all depends on how long you wear them, I wore them for 12hr shifts alternating days for roughly a week before going full time and they were broken in in roughly 3dys). I purchased a 1/2 size bigger and believed this helped. I also laced them differently allievating the pressure where the metguard is(you can go online and look up different nontraditional ways of tying your laces-which you can see in the picture) and kept the laces loose. Once they were broken in I can still feel them they don't bother my feet at all. And lastly they come equipped with 3 hooks that you wrap your laces around to finish lacing the boots up. I don't like this as past experience has proven to tear up the laces rather quickly but these laces seem to be made of better quality. But on the flip side, I can slide my feet in without any resistance so give a little get a little. FYI they are lighter, I just applied mink oil to keep them as long as I can.
