Picture it July 31st. Two weeks before a big family event, guest from out of town and me without shoes to go with a brand new suit. The suit is burgundy and while i found some great shoes either they were out of my size, wouldnt arrive in time, and if they would they were out of my budget. So four days before i need them i find these gorgeous Stacy Adam monk strap ALL BLACK shoes. Nothing against the oxfords with brown soles Inlove them too but they just didnt work with the look i was going for. So with two days to go i crossed my fingers hopes they arrived in time as the window was potentially a day after I needed them. They thankfully arrived the day before and even fit with my regular thick crew socks so they would definitely work with my thinner funky socks i planned to use. I rarely have luck with dress shoes. My size is below average for men so finding shoes that fit right is difficult. Either they're too wide or too narrow. I usually wear a half size but end up with a lot of space in the toes. If i go the half size down i might as well be lopping of the heel or cutting off a toe and since I'm not marrying a prince I wont be riding or sitting the rest of my days. Suffice it to say these fit great! Adjust the strap to your liking because i left them as they came at first and they pinched but one eyehole and it was perfect. Highly recommend!
I’ve had other SA shoes in the past and was always happy. I’m happy with these too. They look great and the discreet rubber sole doesn’t look like I’m wearing old mans shoes but they grip really well. Thinking of getting a second pair.
