I needed shoes for my dive fins so I picked these. I wear a size 8 ladies shoe and the size 7 (man size) fit me perfect. Only problem I had (and it wasn't the shoe's fault) was that the strap of my dive fins came up over the back of the shoe and wound up rubbing the top of my heal raw. To fix the problem, I had to by high top boots so that my fin strap wouldn't rubb my skin. Overall great show though and I'll be keeping them for the beach and creeks.
I definitely recommend sizing down one shoe size. I read people suggesting that and glad I listened because it seems like a perfect fit and I think the size I normally wear for shoes would have been slightly too loose. I havent tested the durability of them yet but initial thoughts are they are made well and have very nice nonslip grip on the shoe.
I wasn’t sure what I’d get when I purchased these. I’ve had similar products in the past that were about the same cost, but I found them to be poorly made and the seams on the inside would irritate your foot. I bought these and wore them extensively on our vacation and found them to be quite comfortable. Wearing them in and out of the water, I found that sand will find its way inside, but no more than any other shoe I wear on the beach.All in all I’m quite satisfied.
I’m a size 8 ladies shoe had to return first pair & order a size down. These are quality booties. I use them with my open back scuba fins. Great fit on fins so I didn’t have to make any strap adjustments. Good multi purpose water shoe that is comfortable, no break in period or need for scuba socks. They have a nice sole if you just want a comfortable water shoe. Highly recommend these to divers and “water dawgs” alike. You won’t be disappointed.It’s very important to protect your feet in the sun, I recently had a squamous cell tumor removed from the bottom of my foot. So if you won’t wear water shoes keep applying the sunscreen for your own health and children’s health.
I had an injury to my Achilles tendon & the ankle booties are not easy to zip up. These worked good and no discomfort the entire two dives. Plus side, they are reasonably priced.

I wear a size 9 in womens/7 in men's, and have maybe very slightly wider than average feet for a woman, though most regular shoes I've bought, have fit me fine width-wise. These shoes were just a tiny bit long in the fit, and tight enough across the widest part of my feet to make it feel like my bones were being ground together uncomfortably as I walked. When I tried walking on lava rocks in a tide pool, the treads demonstrated poor traction.
