Without a doubt, these are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned. This is my second pair. Wore them every day for a month in Europe, walking up 5 to 8 miles a day. Never had sore, aching feet. They still look like new.
I have been wearing Mephisto shoes and sandals for 17 years. In fact, they are the only brand I wear. I bought my first pair of Sharks in Florance in 2004. After five years of hard use in Thailand for five years, I had them remanufactured in 2012.The Paco is built like a tank and light. I wear custom orthotics for a very high arch and the Paco provides the comfort of Mephisto with the lateral support I need.They are the best shoes in the world. Thank you.
Really nice shoe. Extremely well made, but for $400 one would expect that. But the shoe ran a little large for my foot and the majority of 10s I buy are a bit tighter than I would like. These are a bit loose. Even with a thicker sock. But not large enough to warrant a smaller size. So I will have to live with them. So for the sizing I give them only 4 stars. Otherwise they are terrific.

My husband and son do a lot of walking and will only wear these shoes. They've even mailed them away to be resoled. Not cheap, but the quality and support are good.
Well made, maybe good for rainy weather although I don't think they are waterproof. Midway between casual and dressy. Just very large.
