First boots I bought for my job only lasted me 6 months. I found this brand on Amazon and gave them a try, they lasted me just over 2 years so I had to buy another pair. They are very comfortable, the ankle support is great, not heavy with the steel toe, and lasted longer than I expected. In 2 years when these ones wear out and my feet start to get wet I will definitely be getting another pair. Customer service was great too, I ordered the wrong kind at first and the return/refund process was very easy.
UpdateAfter breaking these boots in the fit is very comfortable even in the one that once wasn't these are my go to boots since I've broken them in actually buying another pair just to have as a back up such as when one pair is wet from irrigation at the garden center or stepping in a deep puddleOriginal post- Firstly I would like to say that I go through 2-4 pairs of boots a year and I was impressed when I opened these at how good the quality of their construction is.They are an uninsulated workboot so there is no padding inside which I found perfect because padding material wears out and makes most boots too uncomfortable to wear... My only issue is that the left boot I received feels like the steel toe guard is smaller then the right boot almost like it's been crushed on something. It's bearable for short periods but it rubs right on the knickle of my big toe Making these unwearable for work I would give a poor review on that but based off of how comfortable the right boot is I think this was just a random error and the construction of the boots overall along with affordability warrants a higher ratingI will be trying to find these without steel toe for light duty work
Well constructed boot. Real nice leather. I got the wide and its still a bit to narrow. Not a lot of built in cushion. For the price, I'm relatively pleased. Worth more than I paid. I do metal fabrication and they holding up really well.
I ordered them and wore them to work, so they got scuffed and dirty, I would have felt bad returning them.I wore them to work 2 days and they hurt my feet so bad I could hardly walk by the end of the day. at the end of the first day I went and bought some dr scholls inserts thinking it might help. i will never wear these shoes ever again and wouldnt even give them to my worst enemy, CRUEL SHOES I call them. I think the problem is the soles are so hard and unforgiving there is no give or shock absorption.
The boots overall are unbeatable for the price. I'm a tree climber/worker so what I look for most out of a boot is durability and rigidity. Upon the first 30 hours one eyelette is broken and the leather that supports the ankle is so soft as tho the boots been worn for 30 years already. If I step on one rock the size of a marble the whole back of the boot folds up fortunately I'm pretty sturdy and haven't rolled an ankle but there's been a few moments where I took a step and it looked so bad my Forman asked if I needed to leave. Different side of the same card they're only 80 bucks, at that price I could replace them every 2 weeks without losing sleep. These would be perfect though I'd the leather in the ankle up was stiffer or thicker though.
I'll preface this review by stating I do not wear these for my job. These are my primary "weekend warrior" boots for mowing, snow blowing, etc.I was in the market for a solid steel-toe boot to use for yard work and other heavy-duty situations. I also wanted a boot that would have a higher profile, would keep my feet warm and dry, and serve as a casual multi-purpose boot.I've had this boot for ~1.5 years now, and they have become my daily driver when I'm doing any work outside, walking the dog in the cooler months, or just want to wear something more heavy-duty than a pair of sneakers. The build quality is great, and after putting some miles in them, I haven't experienced any degradation in the quality of these boots. After the break-in period, they fit perfectly and are comfy to wear on long walks with my dog or stomping around the yard when I'm doing yard work.Would highly recommend to anyone who's in a similar situation and looking for light/moderate use.
Awesome boots/loggers, very comfortable, great look with jeans and leather.
I got the boots quickly. I liked the style, and the logger heel wasn't ridiculously tall. The leather was soft, but seemed a bit on the thin side. Steel toe felt good around the toes. The construction seemed good. I would immediately replace the insoles.Now, the big issue was as soon as I laced them up I noticed that the inside top corner of the right boot right above the top eyelet had messed up stitches. Not just the thread was cut, but it looked as if the pieces had been miscut and then stitched, but the stitches had no leather to hold. The top collar and edge were coming apart. I returned the boots and I am trying my luck with some Justin's originalsThe price was good, but quality control seems suspect. Buy if you're alright with a possible return.
