Allen Edmonds has reimagined an American icon by creating this dress cap-toe with a special matte finish calfskin. The shoe features Goodyear welted construction using cork infused foam with an Eva midsole and a carved out heel. The result is a shoe that is fashion forward, lightweight and exceptionally comfortable.

it was good product
It is very comfortableand nice looking shoes. I like it.
My first AE after reading all the hype on the internet. The craftmanship is bad, stitching like a third graders, leather isn't cut straight, stain and adhesives can be spotted. It is worse than every Indian made Goodyear welted shoe I owned.Leather isn't superb either. Not bad but not great.I'm still not sure whether to return it or not due to the price I paid is low (122).Anyway, after this I'll see AE as American made Bostonian or Florsheim which isn't an advantage.Testoni is definitely better and maybe the Indian made Bostonian.
I wanted a better quality dress shoe and always heard about AE but didn't want to spend the money, far beyond the best pair I own by miles, a little snug for 10EEE, but took 7 days at 8hrs per to break in, with polish and buff after each wear. I'm done with $100 throw aways. Onto more.
This is a very classy pair of shoes, quality is amazing I can wear this pair for many occasions, and another plus is that the sole molds to the foot making it very comfortable
Shoe feels bulky and cuts high at the ankle, finish looks very artificial and cheap, also I am almost positive I received seconds. Have both Park Ave and Strands in same size, hard pass on these.
The shoes fit fantastic, but I would recommend buying a half size down from your standard tennis shoe fit. Width is perfect and the fit is like a glove.
It’s a little bit of a trade off with the Bond Street line. On the one hand they are more modern looking and look very stylish. On the other I don’t think they will last and age as well as the more classic Allen Edmonds shoes. The leather is thinner and a bit stiffer. That said, I was complimented by 2 different women the first night I wore them. For the record, I bought the Walnut textured model. I applied saphir renovateur conditioner straight out of the box and saphir dark brown mirror polish for heels and toe caps. They run a litle narrower than the rest of the Edmonds which I like.
