Out of the box, they appear well made, but heavy.Laces can be popped off the top 3 hooks to allow easy removal, but secure wear.Reflective material accents are a bonus.Only complaint is that they are HEAVY, and don't flex much, but they feel bulletproof. This could be a fair trade off for the protection.12w feels/fits good enough with thicker socks to pad the sides. Toe box could be roomier, but more space than the Merrell's I had to retire. Not a lot of arch raise, which I prefer. No feedback through souls due to the thickness/stiffness, which took some adjustment driving. Grip as well as can be expected when working in diesel on metal surfaces, definitely not as slick as some boots.Overall very impressed with quality for price early on. Will try to follow up after they are broken in.

Awesome boots. They are of superior quality. I loved them. They are comfortable walking around and they really feel safe with my feet in them although I won’t be using these shoes for any type of work. On my first day, I walked around 7-8 miles with them and my feet still don’t feel tired. The sole really seemed slip resistant and I cannot wait to walk over snow with these boots.
