Great boot, great company to work with.
These Carolina Men's 8 Inch Waterproof CT EH Boot are what they proclaim a { Work Boot } for logging, construction work etc. !Unlike Military Style Boot say they're Work Boot but not design for extreme activity above !Use these boots for all outside terrain.When you purchase these boots they're not true to size ok purchase a size bigger for comfort !What I dislike about these Carolina "8 Boots is the Inner Sole can be slightly uncomfortable, wear thick cushion socks to eliminate this problem !Aso the more of a reason to purchase a size bigger !
I have the logger elm boots and use those for working doing underground construction as Commercial electrician. I wanted something for work on the inside of the building when kneeling and climbing up and down ladders or lifts all day and this fit that task perfectly. The leather is not as still as the loggers on the upper but still supports just has a little more give.
Bulky boot for confined space operations other than that great basic boot . Steel shank will set off airport secutity, so pack them in the luggage.

3rd pair... one pair a year, construction, mud, water, scuffs, oil grease cold.... best fitting boots ever had... durable!
These boots are not insulated. I have had these before and they are a great boot but the CA8528 is not insulated.
