If you're a half size order the next size up. These shoes are great and if you correct your posture and dont slouch at all you'll get the a 3 inch lift. Yes its gonna be tight when you first wear them. It's brand new so you have to expect that. Wear it prior to the day you really need it to help stretch it out or buy something to help stretch it out. The company makes wider fit shoes so if that's you then don't buy these shoes here just go to their web site. Also you cannot compare these to high heels that girls wear like some other reviews say. Some people complain about EVERYTHING. The incline isn't even close. Yes expect a slight incline. It's not that much. Ask any woman. Definitely recommended.
I am between sizes with slightly wide feet. When I purchased these, reading the description, I assumed that I should simply opt for the smaller of the two sizes and ordered a 6.5 rather than a 7. They are too tight. They fit well enough at the beginning of the day if I am wearing VERY thin socks, but by the end of a day, after walking across campus to and from classes (I'm a professor), they had become so tight that the toes on my right foot had lost all feeling and there were bruises across the insteps of both.At sizes 6.5-7.5, I recommend ordering your usual size, NOT one size down. The only reason these lose a star is because the description led me to order a size that I believe was not appropriate. However, these are ideal shoes for transgender/trans-umbrella individuals who feel more comfortable being slightly taller. They are neutral, professional, and frankly very attractive. The tread is solid, which gives me confidence in their ability to hold up to an Iowa winter. If they were the correct size, I believe they would be very easy to slip into as well, which is very nice on busy mornings when you may need to rush to teach an early class.
The shoe is thin but looks like it will last. The style is really nice. Looks like there adequate lift in the shoes haven't measured difference.
One of the seems in the back split just outside of my return window. Please contact me for assistance returning for replacement.
I might need to order it again.
Very heard to walk with. The bottom is so denst it is not bending when I walk. Not happy with the material used for the bottom part of the shoes
They are def hard, and not super comfy at all, but obviously we are buying these shoes for specific reasons and these do the job. However, their durability leaves much to be desired. Don't be too rough with them.
I told him not to wear to work at McDonald', because his feet will hurt bad. Does he listen? NO, because he wants to be taller so freaking bad, he will stand in these shoes 12 and 14 hour shifts and go to class in them. Apparently, they must be pretty darn comfortable. They have held up great. They make him about 3.5 inches taller. I believe, he told me.
