First and foremost, be very careful who you order from. Shoes are very personal and very case-by-case in terms of fit and comfort. I was charged a restocking fee of 15% twice, putting me out over $30 to essentially try two pairs of shoes on. Only order Amazon Prime if you want to avoid this.Second, the actual shoes are nice and appear to be well made. However, they’re very heavy and stiff. I was expecting some weight because of that crepe sole, but they’re also quite stiff and the tongue bites into my ankle. It’s a real shame these aren’t like the old desert boots that were soft, pliable suede. If they work for you they’ll be great but I found them to be uncomfortable and heavy. I also had to order a half size down from my sneaker size.
