Comfortable shoe right out of the box. I'll let you know in 6 months how they last
I purchased this in July and it came apart from sole in December. Not wearing it everyday even.Good fit but did not last.
Firm sole is good
I've bought these shoes three times now. They last me about a year af near constant wearing.CONS -1- The laces are a joke. They last maybe a month or two then the outer black fabric shreds. I've bought replacement laces and just move them from old pair to new.2- The interior lining starts to fall apart on me. This may be due to the fact that my orthotics tend to wear away at the back lining near the heal. They have done this to countless other shoes in the past. You may not have this problem.3- The shell fails at the connection to the sole. This and the interior issue mentioned above are the only reason I throw out the pair.Pros - Comfortable, And the sole has not worn out on these before the issue above. For the price, its simply worth it for me to keep buying these versus spending time at a shoe shop trying on various other shoes, finding a pair I like, and ultimately never finding them again when I need a new pair.
My husband has been wearing this shoe for many years and it gets more difficult to find them online. Amazon provided a good price, quick delivery, and dependable service. I highly recommend these shoes for practicality, comfort, and price.
I'm a mechanic, so pretty hard on shoes; mostly I get halfway decent ones that last 6 months or a year. I got these because they were cheap and look decent, so thinking - "how bad could they be?"In spite of low expectations, they aren't bad at all. Soles a little hard, but my feet still feel ok after a long day. I thought about getting a cushy insole, but then decided they're fine without them. They have a good grip on oily or wet floors. The uppers look sharp and haven't been damaged at all by any of the random chemicals that get spilled on them. The ankle cushion is a little high and was uncomfortable for a couple days, so I cut it down to the stitching to let it flex and take away the stiffness; no problems since.Updated 5 weeks in, and "how bad could it be" it more or less answered; they're pretty bad. As the weather has gotten hot, these shoes are like little saunas, no ventilation at all. Even on cool days I still get home from work and my socks and practically soaked. Which isn't good. The insoles did become annoying enough that I bought inserts, but more problems ensued. The heel on one shoe started to come apart, which made it increasingly hard to wear them, as I have to walk miles each day. I started to have foot pain on the right one, where the heel cup was breaking from the sole. Anyway, life sucks when your feet hurt on the job, so I just ordered a different brand shoe to replace these. So how bad? Most $50 shoes last me about 6 months. These will be in the trash at 6 weeks. Lesson learned.
Comfortable right out of box. Medium duty, sole will come loose from upper body, laces show wear soon, top skin won't take any aggressive petroleum cleaning solvents. After normal usage, sole becomes quite flexible (prefer more support}. But as noted, great right out of box for comfort, and then replace after 4-6 months.
The shoes arrived quickly. They run a bit big, so we had to exchange them. The exchange process was easy and the new pair arrived quickly. Dressy and comfortable. Using them for police academy dress attire.
