They look as pictured and are comfortable to wear out of the box, while also giving some height in the heel. If you don't plan to wear these with socks (or your socks are typically very thin), you might consider going a half size down. I got my regular size and have no trouble walking around in my socks, but I can see the case for going down a half size.

Super cute and the wine was the perfect color I was looking for. Unfortunately, I’m returning them because they run far more narrow than average for my size 11 feet.
Brings my straight back to the 90’s. Love these with a wide leg or a skinny pant style. Ordered my regular size 8 and fit is just the tiniest bit on the large side but would not size down for fear of rubbing on the back of my heel. They will take a bit of getting used to if you are not already wearing platforms but after a week or two should be good to go.
I kept this product but wasn’t expecting shiny patent leather, they are comfortable.
I like the style of these shoes and they are pretty comfortable, but they run quite large. I am a pretty consistent 9 and I had to size down to an 8.5.
